Stade Fernand-Bédard
Stade Quillorama is a baseball stadium in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home of the Trois-Rivières Aigles of the Frontier League (FL). The ballpark has a seating capacity of 4,000 people, and a standing room which can accommodate an additional 500 fans. History The stadium was built in 1938. It was previously the home of the original Trois-Rivières Aigles, operating in the Eastern League from 1971 to 1977. It was then the home of the Trois-Rivières Saints of the Canadian Baseball League in 2003. In 1971, a major junior baseball team started playing at Stade Municipal de Trois-Rivières. They are the Trois-Rivières Jr. Aigles, who currently plays in the Ligue de Baseball Junior Élite du Québec (LBJEQ). In 2012, the Can-Am League expanded to Trois-Rivières. Trois-Rivières (, ; ) is a city in the Mauricie administrative region of Quebec, Canada. It is located at the confluence of the Saint-Maurice River, Saint-Maurice and Saint Lawrence River, Saint Lawrence rivers, on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River across from the city of Bécancour, Quebec, Bécancour. The Québec Capitales ( French: Capitales de Québec and often referred to as the Caps) are a professional baseball team based in Quebec City. The Capitales compete in the Frontier League (FL) as a member of the North Division in the Atlantic Conference. Éric Serge Gagné (; born January 7, 1976) is a Canadian former professional baseball pitcher who played 10 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), most notably for the Los Angeles Dodgers. After signing with the Dodgers as a free agent in 1995, Gagné began his career as a starting pitcher. After he struggled in that role, the Dodgers converted Gagné from a starter to a reliever, where for three years (2002–2004) he was statistically the most outstanding closer in the league, winning the Cy Young Award in 2003.
