Stacked Sandwich Shop was a sandwich shop in Portland, Oregon. Gabriel Pascuzzi operated the original restaurant in Southeast Portland, Oregon, southeast Portland's Hosford-Abernethy, Portland, Oregon, Hosford-Abernethy neighborhood from 2017 to 2021. The business operated in a different location for several months in 2023. The second iteration of Stacked was housed alongside Pascuzzi's second Feel Good restaurant, in a space previously occupied by Sunshine Noodles in Northwest Portland, Oregon, northwest Portland's Northwest District, Portland, Oregon, Northwest District. Description Sandwiches included an oxtail French dip and a turkey Reuben with purple sauerkraut, as well as roast beef, a turkey club, and grilled cheese. In 2023, the restaurant served a roasted pork coppa with provolone and a green curry fried chicken sandwich with fish sauce. The menu also included Caesar and wedge salads. Gabriel Pascuzzi
Gabriel Pascuzzi is an American chef. He competed on the Food Network's ''Beat Bobby Flay'' and Bravo (American TV network), Bravo's ''Top Chef: Portland'', and his restaurants in Portland, Oregon include Stacked Sandwich Shop and Mama Bird. Pascuzzi was ''Eater (website), Eater Portland'''s Chef of the Year in 2017. Early life and education Gabriel Pascuzzi was born and raised in an Italian American family in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Wilson High School (now Ida B. Wells-Barnett High School). He earned his Bachelor's degree in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales University. Career Pascuzzi has worked at Copenhagen's Noma (restaurant), Noma, as well as DB Bistro Moderne, Colicchio & Sons, and Paulée. He was the head chef at Multnomah Whiskey Library, as of 2014–2015. Pascuzzi's restaurants in Portland have included Stacked Sandwich Shop, Mama Bird, and Feel Good.
