Stacie Anaka
Stacie Anaka is a Canadian freestyle wrestler from Coquitlam, British Columbia. She competes in the 67 kg division. Anaka also serves as an assistant coach for women's wrestling at Simon Fraser University. In 2007, she received the Tom Longboat Award for her outstanding contributions to sports by the Aboriginal Sport Circle. Early life Throughout her high school career at Reynolds Secondary school, she also participated in wrestling. Anaka attended Simon Fraser University on a $20,000 wrestling scholarship. She graduated with a degree in health sciences. During her university career, in the years 2007, 2008 and 2010, she was a national wrestling champion. Playing career In July 2013, Anaka competed at the Summer Universiade Games. She won 3-1 for bronze against Azerbaijan's Natalya Palamarchuk. Alina Vyacheslavivna Berezhna (formerly Stadnyk, née Makhynia, uk, Аліна В'ячеславівна Бережна (Стадник, Махиня); born 3 January 1991) is a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler. She is the 2013 World champion in women's freestyle 67 kg. Personal life Makhynia was born on 3 January 1991 in Chita, Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia. She moved to Ukraine in 1994. Career Competing in the freestyle 67 kg category, Stadnyk won gold at the 2009 World Junior Championships in Ankara and the 2013 European Championships in Tbilisi. In September 2013, she was awarded gold at the World Championships in Budapest, after defeating Stacie Anaka of Canada. In 2014, Stadnyk began appearing in 69 kg freestyle. École Secondaire Reynolds Secondary School is a public secondary school in the Greater Victoria suburb of Saanich, British Columbia, Canada. The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) is a nonprofit organization that operates an annual 15-day summer fair, 10-day winter fair, a seasonal amusement park, and indoor arenas in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The PNE fair is held at Hastings Park, beginning in mid-to-late August and ending in early September, usually Labour Day, and in mid-December until Christmas.
