Liberation Of Saint Peter
The liberation of the apostle Peter is an event described in the Acts of the Apostles, Acts 12, chapter 12 in which the apostle Peter is rescued from prison by an angel. Although described in a short textual passage, the tale has given rise to theological discussions and has been the subject of a number of artworks. Biblical narrative says that Saint Peter, Peter was put into prison by Agrippa I, King Herod, but the night before his trial an angel appeared to him, and told him to leave. Peter's chains fell off, and he followed the angel out of prison, thinking it was a vision (spirituality), vision (verse 9). The prison doors opened of their own accord, and the angel led Peter into the city. Oostkamp (; vls, Ôostkamp) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the villages of Hertsberge, Oostkamp proper, Ruddervoorde and Waardamme. Annot (; oc, Anòt) is a commune in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Annotains'' or ''Annotaines'' The commune has been awarded one flower by the ''National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom'' in the ''Competition of cities and villages in Bloom''. Geography Annot is located some 80 km north-west of Nice, 15 km east of Saint-Andre-les-Alpes, and 13 km west of Puget-Theniers. Ambly-Fleury () is a commune in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region of northern France. Geography Ambly-Fleury is located some 10 km east by south-east of Rethel and some 23 km north-west of Vouziers. Access to the commune is by road D983 from Seuil in the west passing through the heart of the commune just south of the village and continuing east to Givry. The D45 minor road also comes from near Amagne in the north-west through the village then south to Mont-Laurent. Apart from the village there are also the hamlets of Ambly-Haut and Fleury on the D983 to the east of the village. The commune consists entirely of farmland. Alata () is a commune in the Corse-du-Sud department, on the French island of Corsica. It is within the metropolitan area of the capital Ajaccio. Alaigne (; oc, Alanha) is a commune in the Aude department in the Occitanie region of southern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Alaignois'' or ''Alaignoises'' Geography The commune is located some 10 km north-west of Limoux and 20 km east of Mirepoix. Velenka is a municipality and village in Nymburk District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants. Geography Velenka is located about southwest of Nymburk and east of Prague. It lies in a flat landscape in the Central Elbe Table.
