St Mary's Park
St Mary's Park is a cricket ground and former football ground in Saint Kitts and Nevis. History Located at Cayon on the island of Saint Kitts, the ground has played host to the Leeward Islands cricket team for two major cricket matches in January 2007. The first of these was a first-class match against Jamaica in the 2006–07 Carib Beer Cup. The match ended in a draw, with notable contributions from Sylvester Joseph (97) and Omari Banks (100) for the Leeward Islands, and Wavell Hinds (100) for Jamaica. Following the conclusion of this match, the two sides played a List A one-day match in the KFC Cup. Jamaica won the match by 5 wickets, despite a century from Sylvester Joseph. The ground later played host to three Women's Twenty20 Internationals between West Indies women and Sri Lanka women. The SKNFA Premier League, known for sponsorship reasons as the SKNFA National Bank Premier League (previously SKNFA Digicel Super League), is the Saint Kitts top division, created in 1980 and organized by the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association. It currently has 10 participating clubs and the season lasts from September to May. At the Regular Stage, each club plays the others twice (home and away) and the top four teams qualify to Super Four stage. The qualified teams play each other once and the top two teams from Super Four play a 3-legged Championship Play-off to determine the season champion. 2006–07 KFC Cup
The 2006–07 KFC Cup was the 33rd edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The competition was played between 9 January and 17 February 2007, using a round-robin format followed by play-offs. The six teams participating in the competition were Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands. Trinidad and Tobago were undefeated in the round-robin, and eventually defeated the Windward Islands in the final to win their eighth domestic one-day title. The semi-finals and final were all held in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, at Kingstown's Arnos Vale Stadium. Wavell Hinds
Wavell Wayne Hinds (born 7 September 1976) is a former West Indian international cricketer, who played all formats of the game. He was a left-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium-pace bowler. Hinds played 45 Test matches for the West Indies between 2000 and 2005, and 119 One Day Internationals between 1999 and 2010. He also played five Twenty20 Internationals between 2006 and 2010. Hinds is currently the president of the West Indies Players' Association (WIPA), a role he has held since 2012.
