St John Ambulance (officially, the National St John Council of Papua New Guinea) is a health and humanitarian charity that operates the national ambulance service in Papua New Guinea. It is an association of the International Order of St John. St John Ambulance provides ambulance and air medical services in Papua New Guinea for and on behalf of the PNG Government. St John’s ambulance service is funded by the PNG government, partners, and its own fundraising. St John also provides first aid and basic health education. Services St John provides a range of prehospital and primary care services. They also provide health education such as first aid training, first aid in schools, the School of Prehospital Care in Port Moresby. The ''Papua New Guinea Post-Courier'' is a newspaper based in Konedobu, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. It was established on 30 June 1969. Rabaul () is a township in the East New Britain province of Papua New Guinea, on the island of New Britain. It lies about 600 kilometres to the east of the island of New Guinea. Kokopo
Kokopo is the capital of East New Britain Province in Papua New Guinea. It is administered under Kokopo-Vunamami Urban LLG. The capital was moved from Rabaul in 1994 when the volcanoes Tavurvur and Vulcan erupted. As a result, the population of the town increased more than sixfold from 3,150 in 1990 to 20,262 in 2000. Central Province (Papua New Guinea)
Central Province is a province in Papua New Guinea located on the southern coast of the country. It has a population of 237,016 (2010 census) people and is in size. The seat of government of Central Province, which is located within the National Capital District outside the province, is the Port Moresby suburb of Konedobu.
