St Patrick's GAA (Donabate)
St Patrick's, Donabate GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Donabate, County Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Club history Prior to 1924, Gaelic football was played in Donabate and Portrane by the Stars of Fingal. In 1924 a new club was formed which took the name of the patron saint of the parish, Saint Patrick. One of the highlights of the club's history was the winning of the club's first Dublin Junior Football Championship in 1980, a feat repeated in 2008. More recently in the club's history it achieved 3 league promotions in a row from 2011 to 2014. St Dominic's GAA Club (''Naomh Dominic'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Knockcroghery, County Roscommon, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It draws its membership from the half parishes of Knockcroghery, St John's and Rahara. The current club was formed in 1973. Previously, up to four clubs from the parish were in existence at any one time. Since 2018, the club's official supporter has been Sport Direct as part of the companies GAA Grassroots Programme. The club fields teams in both hurling and Gaelic football at all age groups as well as catering for camogie, and Ladies Football. Round towers GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club based in Kildare in County Kildare, Ireland winner of 10 Kildare county senior football championships , six as Round Towers, three as Kildare and one as St Patrick's. History Round Towers most recent Senior Football Championship wins came in 1996 defeating Johnstownbridge, 1998 defeating Clane and 2003 defeating Kilcock. Round Towers were relegated to Intermediate Football in 2012 after a defeat by one point to St Kevin's in the relegation play-off. Managed by Glenn Ryan, they won the Intermediate Championship in 2016 with a one-point victory of Two Mile House in a replay. Mayobridge Gaelic Athletic Association, also called Mayobridge Gaelic Athletic Club or Saint Patrick's Gaelic Athletic Social Club, is a Gaelic football and ladies' Gaelic football club based in Mayobridge, County Down, Northern Ireland. History The club was founded in 1888 as ''Saint Patrick's Mayobridge'' and is the oldest in County Down. The minutes of the Central Council of the GAA record that on 30 April 1888, an application for affiliation was received from St Patrick's Mayobridge County Down. The acceptance of that application makes the club the oldest registered GAA club in the county. Mayobridge won the county title in 1918 and 1919. The youth club and later club grounds were opened in 1978. Lisbellaw St Patrick's GAA
Lisbellaw St Patrick's are a hurling club from central County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. They are the only adult hurling club in Fermanagh, the club has won the Fermanagh Senior Hurling Championship on 31 occasions. Club history In 1968 Adrian Corrigan and Father Peter McGuiness decided to form a hurling team drawing on players in the Lisbellaw area. McGuiness contacted Jimmy McPhillips of Coa and Fermanagh. He and his son John assembled some players and practices began in October 1968. At 16yrs old, Gerry Breslin was the first Club Chairman in 1969. Jimmy McPhillips died in 1984. Facilities Lisbellaw Hurling Club is situated outside the town of Lisbellaw at Cavanacarragh in central Fermanagh. The club facilities include a hurling field with ballstops and a fence around the pitch. Facilities include changing rooms with a meeting room, showers, and toilets. Dromintee St Patrick's Gaelic Athletic Club ( ga, CLG Naomh Pádraig, Dromainn Tí) is a Gaelic Athletic Association, GAA club in Armagh GAA, Armagh. It represents the Dromintee and Jonesborough, County Armagh, Jonesborough parish on the southern border of County Armagh. Dromintee plays Gaelic football and is currently in the Armagh Senior Football Championship. History Dromintee Gaelic Football Club was established in 1886 or 1887, becoming the first Armagh club to affiliate to the GAA. The Dundalk Democrat reported a match played on 27 February 1887 between Dromintee and Kilcurry (County Louth). The Dromintee team, which may have been known as Gap of the North, seems to have disappeared within a year. All Saints Gaelic Athletic Club ( ga, CLG Na Naoimh Uile) is the only Gaelic Athletic Association club in the town of Ballymena, County Antrim. The club is a member of the South-West Antrim division of Antrim GAA, and competes in Gaelic football, hurling, Ladies Gaelic football and camogie. History Gaelic games have had a somewhat difficult history in Ballymena, a town with a substantial Protestant and unionist majority, whereas the GAA has traditionally drawn its support from the mainly Catholic nationalist community. The unionist-controlled local authority became involved in a protracted dispute with the present club soon after its establishment in 1975. St Patrick's GAA Club Wicklow Town is a Gaelic Athletic Association club with teams competing in Hurling, Gaelic Football, and Ladies Football in Wicklow League and Championship competitions. St Patrick's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Dromard and Skreen in west County Sligo, Republic of Ireland. Ballaghaderreen GAA, Ballaghaderreen midfielder and former championship player for mayo county football team, Mayo James Kilcullen declared for Sligo shortly after his club won the 2012 Mayo Senior Football Championship by virtue of St Patrick's being his parents' first club.
