St. Cloud State Huskies
The St. Cloud State Huskies are the athletic teams for St. Cloud State University. The university is primarily a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), and currently sponsors 18 NCAA Division II teams. SCSU also sponsors a women's Nordic skiing team through membership in the CCSA, as well as men's and women's Division I ice hockey teams that are members of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (men) and Western Collegiate Hockey Association (women). The teams go by the nickname Huskies, and the school's mascot is a husky named Blizzard. The Director of Athletics is currently Heather Weems. St. Cloud State also sponsored football until 2019–20, when they decided to drop the program. Fred Williams (born April 15, 1988) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at St. Cloud State University and attended South Division High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He played for the San Jose Sabercats of the Arena Football League from 2011 to 2013. He also was on the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad off and on from 2013 to 2015. John Kimbrough (wide Receiver)
John R. Kimbrough (born August 12, 1954) is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League. College career Kimbrough was a member of the football and track and field teams at St. Cloud State. He was a three-time All-Northern Intercollegiate Conference selection in football and was named second-team Little All-America by the Associated Press. Kimbrough finished his collegiate career with 156 receptions for 2,878 yards and 28 touchdowns with 67 kickoffs returned for 1,583 yards and three touchdowns.
