Srđan Mijailović
Srđan Mijailović (; born 10 November 1993) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays for Al Wasl and the Serbia national team. His primary positions are full-back or defensive midfielder. Club career In a short time Mijailović showed his potential and he became a first team player at the age of 17. He began playing football as a defensive midfielder. On 8 February 2017, he signed a contract with Russian club Krylia Sovetov Samara. On 22 February 2019 Krylia Sovetov removed him from their roster. He was added back to Krylia's squad on 8 July 2019. On 24 May 2020, Krylia Sovetov announced that his contract (that was set to expire on 31 May) would not be extended. International career On 31 May 2012, Mijailović debuted for Serbia in a friendly match against France at the age of 18. Mijailović was selected in Serbia's squad for the UEFA Euro 2024. PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara () is a Russian professional association football, football club based in Samara, Russia, Samara that plays in the Russian Premier League. In 2004, they finished third in the Russian Premier League. History Krylia Sovetov was founded in Kuybyshev (now Samara) in 1942. On 21 April 1946 the team played its first match in the highest division in the USSR in Almaty, Alma-Ata, in which they lost 1–2 to FC Zenit Saint Petersburg, Zenit Leningrad. The 2022–23 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Mozzart Bet SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the 17th season of the Serbian SuperLiga, Serbia's top football league. Red Star were the defending champions, having won their 8th SuperLiga and 33rd domestic title in the previous season. It began on 8 July 2022. As the 2022 FIFA World Cup started on 21 November, the last round before stoppage was held on 12–13 November. The league resumed games on 3 February 2023.
