Adoor Bhavani
Adoor Bhavani (1927 – 25 October 2009) was an Indian actress in Malayalam cinema, best known for her appearance in the National Award-winning film ''Chemmeen'' (1965), directed by Ramu Kariat. She had acted in about 450 films, including ''Mudiyanaya Puthran'', ''Thulabharam'', Kallichellamma, and ''Anubhavangal Paalichakal''. Her last film was K. Madhu-directed ''Sethurama Iyer CBI''. She was also a stage actress and was associated with popular theatre group KPAC. Bhavani was born in Adoor in Travancore. Her sister, Adoor Pankajam, was also a Malayalam film actress. Adoor Bhavani died on 25 October 2009. Awards and recognitions In 1969, Bhavani won the Kerala state film award for the second best actress for the film Kallichellamma. She was awarded the Chalachithra Saparya Lifetime Achievement award by Mathrubhumi- Medimix in 2002. Ramachandra Babu
K. Ramachandra Babu (15 December 1947 – 21 December 2019) was an Indian cinematographer of over 125 films, out of which most are Malayalam films. He also worked for films in Tamil language, Tamil, Telugu language, Telugu, Hindi, Arabic and English language, English languages. He served as the cinematographer for several documentaries and advertisement films as well. He was the founder of the Indian cinematographers, Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC). Surasu
Surasu was a Malayalam–language playwright and actor from Kerala, India. He introduced to Malayali audiences a new genre of drama known as ''mozhiyattam'' which is a fusion of poetry and theatre. He won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 1977 for the play ''Vishwaroopam'' which is regarded as his best work. Surasu wrote the script for some Malayalam films such as ''Randu Penkuttikal''. He also acted in a few films. 'Surasu' was his screen name selected by himself and literally that word means an alcoholic. Surasu was married to drama artist Ambujam Surasu, but the couple did not have children. He committed suicide at Kozhikode railway station in 1995. Since 2004, a drama festival is organised every year in Kozhikode, Kerala in memory of Surasu.
