Srijan ( hi, सृजन, Sr̥jan, translit-std=ISO, creation) is the biggest socio-cultural fest of Eastern India organised bIndian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad Every year, this three-day event attracts more than 30,000 students from more than 200 institutions across the country. It offers young talents a grand stage where they can connect, develop, and bring out their skills, personality, and creativity. Dhanbad is the second-most populated city in the Indian state of Jharkhand after Jamshedpur. It ranks as the 42nd largest city in India and is the 33rd largest million-plus urban agglomeration in India. Dhanbad shares its land borders with Paschim Bardhaman district and Purulia district of West Bengal and Bokaro, Giridih and Jamtara districts of Jharkhand. Salim–Sulaiman is an Indian score composer duo consisting of siblings Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant. The duo compose music predominantly for Hindi films.
