Spring Hill Cemetery (Easton, Maryland)
Spring Hill Cemetery is a cemetery on Aurora and North streets in Easton, Maryland. It is listed in the Maryland Inventory of Historic Properties for Talbot County by the Maryland Historical Trust. History The land was purchased in 1802 by subscription. In 1827, a plot of ground was given by Dr. Ennalls Martin to the Christ Church for use as a cemetery. The first person to be buried was Martin's son, Bartholomew Ennalls Martin. In 1847, a lot near the Christ Church's lot was purchased by the Methodist Church for its burying ground. By 1877, both churches had expanded the burial ground to the north end of Hanson Street and more acres were purchased from Colonel Samuel Hambleton. A fence was made to enclose the parcel and it was given the name ''Spring Hill''. A Gatekeeper's Lodge was at the west side of the main entrance gate. It was a small shingle-covered Victorian Gothic Cottage standing at one and a half stories. It was probably built around 1875 and destroyed around 1970. ...

Spring Hill Cemetery is a historic cemetery at High and Brown Streets in Marlborough, Massachusetts Marlborough is a city in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 41,793 at the 2020 census. Marlborough became a prosperous industrial town in the 19th century and made the transition to high technology industry in the .... Established in 1675, it is the city's oldest cemetery. It has about 650 known burials, dating from its establishment to 1977. It is located on a parcel on a hill just east of the downtown area, and is accessed via a single entrance marked by granite posts at High and Brown Streets. Burials are laid out generally in rows, with headstones facing west. There are four earth-covered tombs near the entrance dating to the first half of the 19th century. Another prominent burial is that of Marlborough's first minister, William Brimsmead (d. 1701). The cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. See also ...

Spring Hill Cemetery Historic District is a national historic district located at Charleston, West Virginia. The district is a site located on a series of tree shaded and landscaped hills overlooking central Charleston and includes the following cemeteries: Spring Hill Cemetery (established 1869), Mountain View Cemetery, B'nai Israel Cemetery, Lowenstein Cemetery, and Mount Olivet Cemetery. It is West Virginia's largest cemetery complex. The district features Spring Hill Mausoleum, a stone faced reinforced concrete structure constructed in 1910.
