Sports Tonight Live
Sports Tonight Live, branded simply as Sports Tonight, was a British television show and channel, owned by VISION247 based in Central London. It was launched online on 29 August 2011. On 15 October 2011, Sports Tonight Live began to broadcast on Freeview, where it is listed as ''Sports''. The channel requires an internet connected Freeview HD set-top box or television, although the service may not be compatible with early Freeview HD equipment. Sports Tonight Live was the first English language channel to use VisionIPTV's studio production and internet broadcast playout services. It was also the first over-the-top delivered channel on the Freeview platform. Sports Tonight Live has also previously broadcast free-to-air on BEN Television and free-to-view on Primetime. Freeview is the United Kingdom's sole digital terrestrial television platform. It is operated by Digital UK Ltd and DTV Services Ltd, a joint venture between the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky. It was launched on 30 October 2002, taking over the licence from ITV Digital which collapsed that year. The service provides consumer access via an aerial to the seven DTT multiplexes covering the United Kingdom. As of July 2020, it has 85 TV channels, 26 digital radio channels, 10 HD channels, six text services, 11 streamed channels, and one interactive channel. A set-top box (STB), also colloquially known as a cable box and historically television decoder, is an information appliance device that generally contains a TV-tuner input and displays output to a television set and an external source of signal, turning the source signal into content in a form that can then be displayed on the television screen or other display device. BEN Television
BEN Television (Bright Entertainment Network) is a British television channel launched in 2003, aimed mainly at expatriate Africans living in Europe. According to its official website "The BEN ethos is, 'safe family viewing and empowering communities'." The channel is free to air on Sky. Free-to-view (FTV) is a term used for audiovisual transmissions that are provided free without any form of continual subscription . It differs from free-to-air (FTA) in that the program is encrypted. Primetime (TV Channel)
Primetime was a pay-per-view TV channel which broadcasts to the United Kingdom and Ireland. The channel was available on Sky channel 498 and through Virgin Media's On Demand service. Primetime also offered live streams via their website. History Super Six World Boxing Classic Primetime was launched in 2009 with the Super Six World Boxing Classic. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams.
