Sporting Suceava
Sporting Suceava was a professional football club from Romania, based in Suceava and founded in 2008. History Sporting Suceava, with Ovidiu Ciobanu on the bench, promoted to the 3rd league after a successful campaign in 2010–11 season, "the white and greens" won the Liga IV – Suceava County and promotion play-off against the champion of Mureș County, FCM Târgu Mureș II, with 2–1 after extra time. The squad that achieved the promotion was composed of: Butnariu – Pantea, Murariu, Sevaciuc, Oniu, Bosancu, Apetri, Nicoară, Căinari, Guriță, Negru. Reserves: Gălan, Crișu, Gliga, Buziuc, Jalba, Avrămia, Cerlincă. After three season in Liga III, the club was dissolved in the summer of 2014. Stadionul Areni
Areni Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Suceava. It currently is the home ground of Foresta Suceava. The stadium had a total capacity of 12,500 seats and was opened in 1963 as the Municipal Stadium. Additionally, the stadium was also renovated between the periods 1976–1977, 1980–1982, and 2002 respectively. After the seats were installed it holds 7,000 people. Suceava County () is a county ('' ro, județ'') of Romania. Most of its territory lies in the southern part of the historical region of Bukovina, while the remainder forms part of Western Moldavia proper. Liga IV
Liga IV is the fourth level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia D into Liga IV before the start of play for the 2006–07 season. Current format Liga IV has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. In Romania the most frequently used system is one division with matches played home and away. A number of associations prefer 2 or even 4 parallel divisions with the teams finishing first meeting in a play-off to decide the champion. 2012–13 Liga III
The 2012–13 Liga III season is the 57th season of the Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. Day one was played on August 31, 2012 and the last round was played on May 30, 2013. The first team in each series will promote at the end of the season to the Liga II, and the teams that finish 10-16 will relegate to the Liga IV. From the teams that finish 9th, another three are relegated, but separate standings are computed, only results against teams that finished 1-8 are taken into consideration. This season was close to a disaster, only 78 teams registered, although 96 spots were available (6x16), thus 18 spots remained unoccupied. From the 78, 5 withdrew from the championship during the first half, CSO Plopeni, Sevișul Șelimbăr, Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea, FCM Huși and FC Cisnădie, thus 73 remained in the tables. 2013–14 Liga III
The 2013–14 Liga III season is the 58th season of the Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 30 August. There is a new system, with six series of 12 teams that will play a regular season, followed by a play-off and play-out for each series. The regular season is a round-robin tournament. At the end of the regular season, the first six teams from each series will play a Promotion play-off and the winners will qualify to Liga II. The last six teams from each series will play a Relegation play-out. The last three teams from each series, at the end of play-out, will relegate to Liga IV.
