Club Social Sport Pampas (sometimes referred as Sport Pampas) is a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Tumbes, Peru. History The Club Social Sport Pampas was founded on May 5, 1964. In 2000 Copa Perú, the club classified to the Regional Stage, but was eliminated by Atlético Grau in the Group Stage. In 2006 Copa Perú, the club classified to the Regional Stage, but was eliminated by Juan Aurich in the Group Stage. In 2009 Copa Perú, the club was 2009 Ligas Superior de Tumbes champion but was eliminated in the Departamental Stage. In 2012 Copa Perú, the club classified to the Departamental Stage, but was eliminated when finished in 6th place. In 2015 Copa Perú, the club classified to the Provincial Stage, but was eliminated in the Group Stage. The Peruvian football league system is a complex system. Though the general outline includes the Liga 1, Liga 2 and Copa Perú. The Copa Perú is very large involving several stages and leagues within it. In addition, the Copa Perú is played within a year. Ligas Superiores Del Peru
The Ligas Superiores was one of two leagues that formed part of the Departamental Stage in the Copa Perú of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) football league system. The other league at level was the Ligas Departamentales. A transcendental step was given in the Copa Perú with the official establishment of the Ligas Superiores which did not become as successful as expected. Format The Ligas Superiores were composed of a select group of clubs of each department. The champion and runner-up from each league automatically qualifies to their department's Liga Departamental. History The Ligas Superiores were officially created in 2009. The 2015 Peru Cup season ( es, Copa Perú 2015), the largest amateur tournament of Peruvian football, started in February. This edition has featured a change, with the elimination of the Regional Stage and the inclusion of participants from all the Regions of Peru in the National Stage. The Copa Perú is a football tournament in Peru. Despite its name, it is not entirely an elimination-cup competition involving all Peruvian clubs, but rather a series of league tournaments leading to an elimination tournament, with regional league clubs as participants. It guarantees its winner promotion to the professional Liga 2. History In 1966, the First Division was named '' Descentralizado''; teams from outside the capital of Lima were allowed to participate in the professional first division.
