Sport Chek is the largest Canadian retailer of sporting clothing and sports equipment, with 191 stores throughout Canada as of 2020. It is the only national big box sporting goods retailer in Canada, although it is absent in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, while Quebec and Yukon are served by its sister brand Sports Experts instead. Its parent company, FGL Sports, also owns over a dozen sporting brands. In 1999, a ''Sport Supercenter'' flagship store was opened on the top level of the Londonderry Mall, replacing an existing Walmart store. In 2014, the Londonderry Mall store relocated to Manning Town Centre, and was replaced by Simons in 2017. There was a second one in Place d'Orléans, but it was converted to Sport Chek/Nevada's Bob Golf in 2012. Place d'Orléans (; French: ) is a shopping mall in Orléans suburb of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The property is about and has approximately 132 stores and services. Place d'Orléans was originally constructed in 1979 and underwent major expansions in 1984, 1988, and 1990 to arrive at its current size and configuration. It was one of the last enclosed malls built in Ottawa. Like many of its counterparts in North America, Place d'Orléans has been struggling to survive in the era of the big-box "power centres". Square One Shopping Centre, or simply Square One, is a shopping mall located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is the largest shopping centre in Ontario and the second largest shopping centre in Canada, after the West Edmonton Mall. It has over of retail space, with more than 360 stores and services.
