Spleen United
Spleen United is a Danish electronic rock band consisting of the brothers Bjarke (Vocals/Guitar) and Gaute Niemann (Bass/ Synth), Kasper Nørlund (Synth/Backing vocals), Rune Wehner (Synth) and Janus Nevel Ringsted (Drums). It was formed in Århus, Denmark in 2002. The band's debut album '' Godspeed into the Mainstream'' was released in 2006. Their second album ''Neanderthal'' was released on 21 January 2008 and the singles were (in order) "My Tribe", "Suburbia", "66", and "Failure 1977". Surburbia is remixed by Juan Maclean and other remixers count VHS or BETA. From 16 to 17 April 2010, Spleen United held a non-stop 24-hour improv session - from sunset to sunset. Grøn Koncert
Grøn Koncert (literally "Green Concert") is an annually recurring series of Danish one-day music festivals. Taking place in July, the concerts are performed by a selection of bands who tour around Denmark for about ten days. The concerts have been held every year since 1983, always with mostly or exclusively Danish artists. The concerts are arranged by Muskelsvindfonden, a Danish support organisation for muscular dystrophy sufferers; the practical work for the concerts is done by several hundred people from "Det Grønne Crew", Muskelsvindfonden's concert volunteer group. Roskilde Festival
The Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival held annually south of Roskilde. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two high school students and a promoter. In 1972, the festival was taken over by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since run the festival as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism. In 2014, the Roskilde Foundation provided festival participants with the opportunity to nominate and vote upon which organizations should receive funds raised by the festival. NorthSide Festival (Denmark)
NorthSide Festival, or simply NorthSide, is a three-day music festival held every year in June in Aarhus, Denmark. It has three stages with rotating artists and several sideshow events and happenings. The first festival commenced in 2010 and since 2011, the festival has been held at Ådalen in Åbyhøj. The 2017 festival was attended by 40,000 people each day. The festival now goes by the name NorthSide to avoid confusion with the Northside Festival in Brooklyn. Jelling
Jelling is a railway town in Denmark with a population of 3,658 (1 January 2022), located in Jelling Parish, approximately 10 km northwest of Vejle. The town lies 105 metres above sea level.
