Splash (fluid Mechanics)
In fluid mechanics, a splash is a sudden disturbance to the otherwise quiescent free surface of a liquid (usually water). The disturbance is typically caused by a solid object suddenly hitting the surface, although splashes can occur in which moving liquid supplies the energy. This use of the word is onomatopoeia, onomatopoeic; in the past, the term "plash" has also been used. Splash also happens when a liquid droplet impacts on a liquid or a solid surface; in this case, a symmetric ''corona'' (resembling a coronet) is usually formed as shown in Harold Eugene Edgerton, Harold Edgerton's famous milk splash photography, as milk is opaque. Historically, Worthington (1908) was the first one who systematically investigated the splash dynamics using photographs. Splashes are characterized by transient Ballistics, ballistic flow, and are governed by the Reynolds number and the Weber number. In the image of a brick splashing into water, one can identify freely moving airborne wate ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Circle In The Round
''Circle in the Round'' is a 1979 compilation album by jazz musician Miles Davis. It compiled outtakes from sessions across fifteen years of Davis's career that, with one exception, had been previously unreleased. All of its tracks have since been made available on album reissues and posthumous box sets. Material "Two Bass Hit" is from a 1955 session. A 1958 re-recording was released on ''Milestones''. " Love for Sale", previously released on a 1974 Japanese compilation, features the same lineup that would play on most of ''Kind of Blue''. "Blues No. 2" comes from the last session that Davis and John Coltrane would record together in 1961, although Coltrane does not play on the track. The title track, recorded in late 1967, is the first Davis recording to depart from the strictly acoustic quintet, featuring the sound of the electric guitar (played by Joe Beck). This marks the inception of his "electric" period, which would continue in his music throughout the remainder of his care ... African Space Craft

The ''Vancouver Sun'' concluded that "mostly it sounds like a '90s version of Jimi Hendrix's ''Band of Gypsies'', without the lengthy solos." ''The Sun-Herald ''The Sun-Herald'' is an Australian newspaper published in tabloid or compact format on Sundays in Sydney by Nine Publishing. It is the Sunday counterpart of ''The Sydney Morning Herald''. This Is What The Truth Feels Like
''This Is What the Truth Feels Like'' is the third studio album by American singer Gwen Stefani. It was released on March 18, 2016, by Interscope Records. Initially, the album was scheduled to be released in December 2014 with Stefani working with a handful of high-profile producers, and Benny Blanco serving as executive producer. However, after the underperformance of her 2014 singles and the writer's block Stefani suffered, she did not feel comfortable curating an album and scrapped the whole record in favor of starting again. The album's release was scheduled after Stefani hinted at it on her Twitter account. Inspired by both the end of her marriage and eventual newfound romance, Stefani returned to writing new songs. With the help of producers J.R. Rotem, Mattman & Robin, and Greg Kurstin, as well as songwriters Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels, Stefani wrote the album in a few months.
