Spirou Et Les Héritiers
''Spirou et les héritiers'', written and drawn by Franquin, is the fourth album of the ''Spirou et Fantasio'' series, and a great leap in the expansion of the Spirou universe. After serial publication in '' Spirou'' magazine, it was released as a complete hardcover album in 1952. Story In ''Spirou and the Heirs'', Fantasio is told he must compete against his cousin Zantafio to inherit from a long-absent uncle. The deceased has devised three trials for the two men: creating an original and useful invention, achieving a top 6 Grand Prix race position, and finally capturing a mysterious animal, the Marsupilami in the Palombian jungle. The dishonest Zantafio uses extreme tactics to win, and the two cousins are tied after the second task. The third task proves the hardest, as the creature's prodigious reflexes and abilities make it impossible to capture, until it accidentally drinks a gallon of heating oil. Éditions Dupuis S.A. () is a Belgium, Belgian publisher of comic albums and magazines. Based in Marcinelle near Charleroi, Dupuis was founded in 1922 by Jean Dupuis, and is mostly famous for its comic comics album, albums and magazines. It is originally a French language publisher, but publishes many editions both in French and Dutch language, Dutch. Other language editions are mostly licensed to other publishers. Eugene the Jeep is a character in the ''Popeye'' comic strip. A mysterious animal with magical or supernatural abilities, the Jeep first appeared in the March 16, 1936 ''Thimble Theatre'' comic strip (now simply ''Popeye''). He was also present in animated versions of Popeye's adventures, including three of the Fleischer Studios shorts of the late 1930s/early 1940s, with more extensive appearances in later ''Popeye'' cartoons produced for TV. Marsupials are any members of the mammalian infraclass Marsupialia. All extant marsupials are endemic to Australasia, Wallacea and the Americas. Maurice De Bevere (; ; 1 December 1923 – 16 July 2001), better known as Morris, was a Belgian cartoonist, comics artist, illustrator and the creator of ''Lucky Luke,'' a bestselling comic series about a gunslinger in the American Wild West.
