Spencer Sutherland is an American indie pop singer, songwriter, and actor from Pickerington, Ohio, United States. Biography In June 2017, Sutherland was picked as Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month appearing on NBC's ''Today'' show with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford performing his hit "Selfish" live on the program. This became his debut appearance on U.S. national television. His single "Selfish", released in February 2017, reached over 4 million streams on Apple Music. Pickerington is a city in Fairfield County, Ohio, Fairfield and Franklin County, Ohio, Franklin counties in the central region of the U.S. state of Ohio. It was founded in 1815 as Jacksonville, named after Andrew Jackson. Pickerington was known as Jacksonville until 1827, when the citizens petitioned the state legislature to change the name to Pickerington in honor of its founder, Abraham Pickering.
