Spencer Schnell
Spencer Schnell (born December 7, 1994) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Illinois State. Early life and high school Schnell was born and grew up in Elkhart, Indiana, and attended Elkhart Central High School. He was named second-team All-Northern Indiana Athletic Conference (NIAC) after catching 58 passes for 984 yards and eight touchdowns in his junior season. As a senior, Schnell caught 101 passes for 1,458-yards and 11 touchdowns with two punts returned for touchdowns and was named first-team All-NIAC and first-team All-Region. College career Schnell began his collegiate career at Ohio, joining the team as a walk-on and redshirting his true freshman season with the expectation that he would receive a scholarship the following year. ''The Vidette'' (formerly ''The Daily Vidette'') is a fully digital student-run news organization at Illinois State University. It is an affiliate of UWIRE, which distributes and promotes the paper's content to its network. History ''The Vidette'' was first published in 1888 and operated as a subscription publication until 1915 when it began receiving support through student fees. Publication frequency increased from weekly to semiweekly in 1934 before reverting to weekly publication in 1943. Through the 1960s and 1970s publication frequency eventually increased to five days per week. In 2013 and 2014 the newspaper reduced publication frequency to four and then two days per week. The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in the Buffalo metropolitan area. Indiana Hoosiers Football
The Indiana Hoosiers football program represents Indiana University Bloomington in NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision college football and in the Big Ten Conference. The Hoosiers have played their home games at Memorial Stadium since 1960. The team has won the Big Ten Championship twice, once in 1945 and again in 1967. Dave Schnell
David Schnell (July 15, 1966 – May 22, 2011) was an American football player. He attended Elkhart Central High School in Elkhart, Indiana, and he was selected by ''Sports Illustrated'' in 1985 as the best high school football player in the United States. He played college football as a quarterback for the Indiana University Hoosiers football team, which won victories in 1987 over both Michigan and Ohio State, becoming the only Indiana quarterback to defeat both teams in the same year. The following year he was selected by the conference coaches as the second-team quarterback on the 1988 All-Big Ten Conference football team. Schnell was diagnosed with leukemia in 2007 and died from the disease in May 2011 at age 44.
