Skrotfrag Arena
The Skrotfrag Arena is a 15,000-capacity multi-use stadium in Målilla, Sweden. The stadium is regularly used as the venue for the World Championship races; the Speedway Grand Prix of Scandinavia and the Speedway Grand Prix of Sweden (rounds of the Speedway Grand Prix, which is the premier world event in motorcycle speedway. The Arena is also the home venue of the speedway team called Dackarna who race in the Eliserien. The speedway track has a circumference of 305 metres. The stadium opened on 29 June 1993 when it was known as the new Målilla Motorstadion and the track record for 500cc is 55.1sec by Andreas Jonsson recorded on 23 August 2011. From 2006 until 2019 it was known as the G & B Arena for sponsorship purposes. In 2022, Bartosz Zmarzlik sealed his second world title at the stadium. Rune Holta
Rune Holta (born 29 August 1973 in Stavanger, Norway) is a speedway rider. He grew up in Randaberg Norway, but has been a Polish citizen since 2002, allowing him to represent Poland in international competitions and was a member of their Speedway World Cup winning teams in 2005, 2007 & 2010. He has also won the Polish Championship in 2003 and 2007. In 2020, he rode for Dackarna Malilla in the Swedish Elit League and for Włókniarz Częstochowa in the Polish Ekstraliga. In 2022, he helped PSŻ Poznań win the 2022 2.Liga. Awards For his sport achievements, he received: Golden Cross of Merit in 2007. Nicki Pedersen
Nicki Pedersen (born 2 April 1977) is a Danish motorcycle speedway rider. He has won the World Championship in 2003, 2007 and 2008 and was a World Cup winner with Denmark in 2006, 2008, 2012 and 2014. His brother, Ronni Pedersen, has also ridden in the Speedway Grand Prix and World Cup. Career Domestic teams Pedersen began speedway racing aged 11 at Danish club Fjelsted. He started his Polish speedway career in 1999 with Polish second division club Start Gniezno and has since ridden for GTŻ Grudziądz, Wybrzeże Gdańsk, ZKŻ Zielona Góra and ŻKS ROW Rybnik. Matej Žagar (born 3 April 1983 in Ljubljana, Slovenia) is a Slovenian motorcycle speedway rider who was won two Individual Speedway European Champion titles in 2004 and 2008. Career In 2002, he won the 2002 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship and the following year made his debut in the Individual World Championship. Jason Kevin Doyle (born 6 October 1985) is an Australian motorcycle speedway rider. He became World Champion in 2017. He won the 2015 Australian Solo Championship. He has also won the South Australian Championship in 2014, and the Elite League Riders' Championship and the Master of Speedway meeting in Germany in 2015. Doyle is a member of the Australia national speedway team and represented his country in the Speedway World Cup. He was part of the Danish teams that won the Speedway World Cup in 2006, 2008, 2012 and 2014.
