''Special Reserve'' is a compilation album by rapper Obie Trice and producer MoSS. It was released on December 15, 2009. ''Special Reserve'' served as a preface for Obie's then upcoming album Bottom's Up. The album's only guest appearance is on "Roughnecks", featuring Deuce Wonder. The album also features scratching by DJ Grouch (Turnstylez Crew) on "Got Hungry", "I Am", "On & On" and "4 Stories," and instrumentation by G Koop on 9 of the 11 tracks. Obie Trice
Obie Trice III (born November 14, 1977) is an American rapper. He was signed to fellow Detroit rapper Eminem's Shady Records in 2002, where he released the albums ''Cheers'' (2003) and ''Second Round's on Me'' (2006). Trice formed his own record label, Black Market Entertainment, upon leaving Shady. He does not use a rap name like most rappers, instead using his birth name on stage. Biography Obie Trice III was born and raised on the west side of Detroit, Michigan, by his mother, along with three brothers. He is of African American and German descent. Trice was given a karaoke machine by his mother when he was eleven and he used it to rhyme over instrumentals from artists such as N.W.A. MoSS
Mosses are small, non-vascular flowerless plants in the taxonomic division Bryophyta (, ) '' sensu stricto''. ''Second Round's on Me'' is the second studio album by rapper Obie Trice and is his final album released under Shady Records. The track "Wanna Know" can be heard on the HBO series ''Entourage'' in the episode "The Sundance Kids" and also in the game Fight Night: Round 3 for the Xbox 360 as well as the PS3. The album contains a predominance of guest appearances from members of his Detroit crew Trife Life. It was released on August 15, 2006, after over a year of delays. ''Bottoms Up'' is the third studio album by American rapper Obie Trice. It was released on April 3, 2012, by Black Market Entertainment. The album entering the charts at number 113, with 5,000 physical albums sold in the first week. The album is his first effort since ''Second Round's on Me'' in 2006 and features production from Dr. Dre and Eminem. Background The title of the album, ''Bottoms Up'', was chosen as Obie Trice was keen to keep the alcohol-related theme for his album titles. He had begun working on the album while in the process of releasing his second album, ''Second Round's on Me''. As of 21 May 2007, Obie Trice told MTV that he was at the time "a few songs deep", and had by that point collaborated with just Daz Dillinger.
