Pangalian Balindong
Ali Pangalian M. Balindong (born 1 January 1940) is a Filipino lawyer and politician. He is the current speaker of the Bangsamoro Parliament. He is also a former deputy speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives and a member of the 1971 Philippine Constitutional Convention. Early life Born in Pualas, Lanao del Sur on 1 January 1940, Balindong is the eldest son of Sultan Amer Macaorao Balindong, former mayor of the Municipality of Malabang, and Hajjatu Maimona Marohom Balindong. He studied at the Malabang Central Elementary School and graduated in 1954. He then went to Our Lady of Peace High School and graduated in 1958. He took up Bachelor of Arts Major in Political Science at the Manuel L. Quezon University and graduated in 1962. He studied law at the same university and graduated in 1966 with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.). Ahod Balawag Ebrahim (born 15 May 1949), better known as Al-hajj Murad Ebrahim, is a Moro Filipino politician and former rebel leader currently serving as the first chief minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Hajji Salik B. Abu more commonly known as Ghazali Jaafar (6 May 1944 – 13 March 2019) was a Filipino militant and government official. He fought under the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). He served as chairman of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission (BTC), and the Speaker of the Parliament designate under the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), the interim regional government of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. 1st Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament
The 1st Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament, is the first interim Bangsamoro Parliament, the legislature of the transitional regional government of Bangsamoro. It is composed of members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority which itself was constituted on February 22, 2019 when its first set of members took their oath. The inaugural session began on March 29, 2019 and ended on April 23, 2020. At the start of the first regular session, the parliament had 75 members. The second regular session began on June 16, 2020. The third session began on June 15, 2021. The fourth session began on June 14, 2022.
