Jimmy Needham
Jimmy Needham (born August 22, 1985) is an American contemporary Christian musician signed to Inpop Records. He released debut album, ''For Freedom'', an independent release, in 2005, and after signing with the Christian record label Inpop in 2006, a series of albums: '' Speak'' (2006), ''Not Without Love'' (2008), '' Nightlights'' (2010), ''Clear the Stage'' (2012), and '' Vice & Virtue'' (2015). Background He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he studied history and philosophy, and also a graduate of Tomball High School. Needham's first album, ''For Freedom'', was independently released in 2005, with the help of Troy Warren Jr. He signed with the Christian record label Inpop in 2006, and released his major label debut album, '' Speak'', later that year. Contemporary Christian music, also known as CCM, Christian pop, and occasionally inspirational music is a genre of modern popular music, and an aspect of Christian media, which is lyrically focused on matters related to the Christian faith and stylistically rooted in Christian music. Acoustic Music
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. While all music was once acoustic, the retronym "acoustic music" appeared after the advent of electric instruments, such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ and synthesizer. Blues
Blues is a music genre and musical form which originated in the Deep South of the United States around the 1860s. Blues incorporated spirituals, work songs, field hollers, shouts, chants, and rhymed simple narrative ballads from the African-American culture. The blues form is ubiquitous in jazz, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll, and is characterized by the call-and-response pattern (the blues scale and specific chord progressions) of which the twelve-bar blues is the most common. Inpop Records is an independent contemporary Christian music record label based in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S. It was launched in July 1999 by Australians Peter Furler, Dale Bray, and Wes Campbell. The name was derived from the idea of wanting to highlight the talents of ''in''ternational ''pop'' artists, though they have signed an equal number of American artists. ''Not Without Love'' is the second studio album from CCM musician Jimmy Needham. It was released on August 19, 2008 through Inpop Records in the United States. The album's lead single "A Breath or Two" was released prior to the album, and reached No. 11 on Christian contemporary hit radio. Hamilton Michael Loomis (born November 1, 1975) is an American electric blues guitarist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. One of his eight albums released to date, ''Ain't Just Temporary'', peaked at number 7 in the ''Billboard'' Top Blues Albums Chart in September 2007. In describing Loomis' musical style, ''Guitar Player'' magazine once stated, "if blues, soul, and rock can be said to form a triangle, you’ll find Hamilton Loomis right in the centre of it". Life and career Loomis was born in Galveston, Texas, United States, to musical parents and he learned to play the drums, piano, guitar and harmonica at an early age.
