Spazmatics
The Spazmatics is a chain band, consisting of multiple cast members conceived by Perfect World Entertainment. The band plays cover songs from the 1980s. There are Spazmatics lineups based in Dallas, Austin, Cleveland, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Nashville, Tampa, Salt Lake City, Chicago, North Carolina, South Carolina, San Antonio and New York City. History In 1995, Jamie Brown, co-owner of Perfect World Entertainment, and his business partner Roger Sause established the Spazmatics. The band made its first appearance in Agoura Hills, California. By the end of the year, the Spazmatics performed in Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, Las Vegas, Seattle, Seattle, Washington and Tucson, Arizona. Perfect World Entertainment introduced the band to Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California in 2000. Thomas Dolby
Thomas Morgan Robertson (born 14 October 1958), known by the stage name Thomas Dolby, is an English musician, producer, composer, entrepreneur and teacher. Dolby came to prominence in the 1980s, releasing hit singles including "She Blinded Me with Science" (1982) and " Hyperactive!" (1984). He has also worked as a producer and as a session musician. In the 1990s, Dolby founded Beatnik, a Silicon Valley software company whose technology was used to play internet audio and later ringtones, most notably on Nokia phones. He was also the music director for the TED Conference. On the faculty at the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University since 2014, Dolby leads Peabody's Music for New Media program, which enrolled its first students in the fall of 2018. "She Blinded Me with Science" is a song by the English musician Thomas Dolby, released in 1982. It was first released as a single in the UK in October 1982. It was subsequently included on the EP '' Blinded by Science'' and the 1983 re-release of Dolby's debut album ''The Golden Age of Wireless''. Although viewed as a success in both the United States and Canada, peaking at No. 5 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and 2 weeks at No. 1 in Canada's RPM Magazine, the song barely managed to score among the Top 50 in Dolby's native United Kingdom, peaking at No. 49 on the UK Singles Chart in 1982. Dolby is often considered a one-hit wonder in the United States on the basis of the song's chart success there. Thousand Oaks is the second-largest city in Ventura County, California, United States. Revenge Of The Nerds
''Revenge of the Nerds'' is a 1984 American comedy film directed by Jeff Kanew and starring Robert Carradine, Anthony Edwards, Ted McGinley, and Bernie Casey. The film's plot chronicles a group of nerds at the fictional Adams College trying to stop the ongoing harassment by the jock fraternity, the Alpha Betas, in addition to the latter's sister sorority, Pi Delta Pi. Plot Best friends and nerds Lewis Skolnick and Gilbert Lowe enroll in Adams College to study computer science. The Alpha Betas, a fraternity that includes most of the Adams football team, carelessly burn down their own house and, urged by Coach Harris, take over the freshman dorms, literally throwing the freshmen out into the street.
