Louis King (June 28, 1898 – September 7, 1962) was an American actor and film director of westerns and adventure movies in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Citwf.com; accessed July 23, 2015. William Fairbanks (born Carl Ullman; May 24, 1894 – April 1, 1945) was an American actor. He appeared in over 65 silent era films between 1916 and 1928. Biography Fairbanks was born Carl Ullman in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Charles and Emma E. Ullman. His father was born in Bavaria, Germany, emigrated to the U.S. and became a naturalized citizen, and his mother was born in Illinois. His father was a dry goods merchant and his mother a saleslady at their store. At age 16, Carl worked as a clerk in a stationery store in St. Louis. He attended the St. Louis Military Academy. Al Hart (c. 1927 – January 14, 2016) was a radio broadcaster. He began his career at WOBT in Rhinelander, WI, studied journalism at the University of Minnesota, and spent ten years in television and radio in Shreveport, LA. He moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1960 to work as program director of KABL, moved to KNBR in 1965, and to KCBS as a producer for Dave McElhatton in 1966. He became a news anchor in 1968, and began his 24-year run as morning news anchor in 1976.
