Valeriy Kravchynskyi
Valeriy Kyrylovych Kravchynskyi ( uk, Валерій Кирилович Кравчинський; 12 December 1938 – 20 January 2001) was a Soviet and Ukrainian football defender. He spent most of his career with Desna Chernihiv the main club in Chernihiv. Career As a child, he played football on Leskovitsa, took part in the unofficial championships of Chernihiv among street teams. In 1953 he enrolled in the football section, whose coach was Alexander Norov. In 1958, he played for ATK Chernihiv and for Spartak Chernihiv, then he joyed to Avanhard Chernihiv where he played 31 matches. Desna Chernihiv In 1961, Avanhard Chernihiv changed their name to Desna Chernihiv and Kravchinsky was appointed vice captain and in 1964 as captain. Yunist Chernihiv ( uk, ФК «Юність» Чернігів) is a Ukrainian amateur football team based on Yunist sports school in Chernihiv. The sports school is known for its talent players like Andriy Yarmolenko, Pavlo Polehenko, Serhiy Kovalenko, Vladyslav Shapoval, Pavlo Fedosov, Yuriy Maley, Oleksiy Khoblenko, Dmytro Myronenko Andriy Fedorenko, and Nika Sichinava. SDYuShOR Desna ( uk, СДЮШОР «Десна») is a Ukrainian sports school specialized in football with the Olympic Reserve status based in Chernihiv. The school serves as a youth academy of Desna Chernihiv. Stadium and facilities The team plays in the Olympic Sports Training Center of Chernihiv (formerly Stadion Yuri Gagarin). The stadion built in 1936 for 3,000 spectators in eastern portion of a city park built in 1804. Andriy Protsko ( uk, Андрій Андрійович Процко; born 14 October 1947) is a former professional Soviet football forward and coach. Career He started his career for FC Desna Chernihiv in 1966– until 1970. In 1971 he moved to FC Dynamo Khmelnytskyi until 1972.
