Jorge Negrete
Jorge Alberto Negrete Moreno (; 30 November 1911 – 5 December 1953) was a Mexican singer and actor. Life and career Negrete was born in the city of Guanajuato and had two brothers and three sisters; his father was a Mexican Army Colonel who fought with the Revolutionary faction called Northern Division (''División del Norte''); however, around 1920, he quit his military career and moved with his family to Mexico City. There he found a job as a math teacher in several institutions, such as the German College "Alexander Von Humboldt"; there his sons David and Jorge studied until middle school, and as a result, they became fluent in the German language. Annabella (born Suzanne Georgette Charpentier, 14 July 1907 – 18 September 1996) was a French cinema actress who appeared in 46 films between 1927 and 1952, including some Hollywood films during the late 1930s and 1940s. Life and career Annabella was born in Paris, France. Annabella's chance to enter films came when her father entertained a film producer, who gave her a small part in Abel Gance's great classic ''Napoléon'' (1927). She was not critically acclaimed until she starred in René Clair's ''Le Million'' (1931), and over the following decade established herself as one of France's most popular cinema actresses. For ''Veille d'armes'' (1935), she won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival in 1936. José Suárez (19 September 1919 – 6 August 1981) was a Spanish film actor. Career José Suárez made his debut in a short role in ''Altar Mayor'' (1944), a very conventional film, whose director, Gonzalo Delgrás, had paid attention to him in his work as a train conductor in Asturias. He played increasingly important roles in following Delgrás's movies and by 1948 he was already a lead actor.
