Las Noches Del Hombre Lobo
''Las Noches del Hombre Lobo'' (also known as ''Nights of the Wolf Man'') is a 1968 Spanish horror film about the werewolf Count Waldemar Daninsky, played by Paul Naschy. It has always been referred to as the second of Paul Naschy's 12 "Hombre Lobo" films. However, there are serious doubts as to whether the film was actually made; no one, including Naschy himself, has ever seen it. It was never theatrically released, nor has it ever turned up on video. It is considered today to be a lost film. ''Nights'' was followed by the third film in the series in 1969, Los Monstruos del Terror'' (''The Monsters of Terror''). Authenticity Naschy was the only person who ever insisted that this movie (which he said he wrote) was actually filmed. He insisted in interviews that he filmed his scenes for this film in Paris. Giovanni Cianfriglia
Giovanni Cianfriglia (born 5 April 1935) is an Italian film actor. He has appeared in more than 100 films since 1958. Born in Anzio, Cianfriglia debuted as the body double of Steve Reeves in ''Hercules'', then he started appearing, often uncredited, as a stuntman in dozens of genre films. Since the second half of the sixties he starred in several adventure films and Spaghetti Westerns in leading roles using the stage name Ken Wood. Umberto Raho
Umberto Raho (4 June 1922 – 9 January 2016) was an Italian stage, film and television actor. Life and career Born in Bari, the son of an Italian father and a Bulgarian mother, Raho graduated in philosophy and then, immediately after the war, he debuted on stage. While theater was his main activity, Raho was also a very prolific film character actor, with over one hundred credits starting from 1948. He was also active in television films and series. Death Raho died on 9 January 2016 in Anzio, Italy, at the age of 93. Satanik (film)
''Satanik'' is a 1968 film directed by Piero Vivarelli. It is based on the Italian comic series ''Satanik'' and was released to a moderate financial success in Italy. Plot Dr. Bannister (Magda Konopka), an ugly and disfigured woman, is summoned by a colleague of hers who has recently discovered a serum for rejuvenating living beings. The colleague shows Bannister the miraculous result of his experiments, injecting the serum into an animal close to death. In a few seconds, the animal is reinvigorated, showing vigor and health. The colleague, however, does not intend to use the serum on human beings, as some experiments remain to be conducted. In a moment of distraction Bannister kills the colleague, following which she drinks the serum he had developed. After a series of convulsions, the woman falls unconscious to the ground, but shortly thereafter awakens rejuvenated and beautiful. Spaghetti Western
The Spaghetti Western is a broad subgenre of Western films produced in Europe. It emerged in the mid-1960s in the wake of Sergio Leone's film-making style and international box-office success. The term was used by foreign critics because most of these Westerns were produced and directed by Italians. Leone's films and other core Spaghetti Westerns are often described as having eschewed, criticized, or even "demythologized" many of the conventions of traditional U.S. Westerns. This was partly intentional and partly the context of a different cultural background. Terminology According to veteran Spaghetti Western actor Aldo Sambrell, the phrase "Spaghetti Western" was coined by Spanish journalist Alfonso Sánchez in reference to the Italian food spaghetti. John Ireland (actor)
John Benjamin Ireland (January 30, 1914 – March 21, 1992) was a Canadian actor. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in ''All the King's Men'' (1949), making him the first Vancouver-born actor to receive an Oscar nomination. Peter Lee Lawrence born Karl Hyrenbach (21 February 1944 in Lindau, Germany – 20 April 1974 in Rome, Italy), was a German actor and a citizen of France. He enjoyed brief fame as a prolific leading man of Spaghetti Westerns before dying at the age of 30. Biography He lived in Nice for several years with his mother and then in Rome (Italy) with his wife and son. He was also cast in photonovels under the name Pierre Clément. His first notable film role was a small, uncredited, but important appearance as the brother-in-law of Lee Van Cleef in ''For a Few Dollars More''. Umberto Lenzi (6 August 1931 – 19 October 2017) was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and novelist. A fan of film since young age, Lenzi studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and made his first film in 1958 which went unreleased, while his official debut happened in 1961 with ''Queen of the Seas''. Lenzi's films of the 1960s followed popular trends of the era, which led to him directing several spy and erotic thriller films.
