The Goidelic or Gaelic languages ( ga, teangacha Gaelacha; gd, cànanan Goidhealach; gv, çhengaghyn Gaelgagh) form one of the two groups of Insular Celtic languages, the other being the Brittonic languages. Goidelic languages historically formed a dialect continuum stretching from Ireland through the Isle of Man to Scotland. Robert Spain (born June 26, 1956) is a former Republican member of the Vermont House of Representatives and former town manager of Millbury, Massachusetts. Biography Robert James Spain Jr. was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on June 26, 1956, a son of Robert J. Spain and Patricia A. (Quirk) Spain. He attended the schools of Worcester, and graduated from Burncoat Senior High School. Quinton Lamar Spain (born August 7, 1991) is an American football guard who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2015. Nancy Brooker Spain (13 September 1917 – 21 March 1964) was a prominent English broadcaster and journalist. She was a columnist for the '' Daily Express'', ''She'' magazine, and the '' News of the World'' in the 1950s and 1960s. Francis Jones Spain (February 17, 1909 – June 23, 1977) was an American amateur ice hockey player who competed in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Frank Spain was born on an ancestral plantation in Brooks County, Georgia, but later moved to Waban, Massachusetts, where he learned to play hockey on frozen ponds. He attended Phillips Exeter Academy prep school and then Dartmouth College, where he majored in philosophy and played baseball and ice hockey as a member of the class of 1934. He left Dartmouth to play for the Boston Olympics, where he was the team captain for the 1933–1934 season. After his amateur ice-hockey career, he served as a naval officer and toured Europe. Following his marriage in 1941, he settled in Rochester, New York, where he began a business and a family.
