Spaceship Records (also known as Spaceship Entertainment or Spaceship), is a Nigerian based record label founded by recording artist Burna Boy, as a flagship of Spaceship Collective. The label was launched in 2015, and is home to recording acts, Nissi, and Burna Boy. It also houses producer LeriQ, and Telz. Artists formerly signed to the label, include Bnxn. History Spaceship Entertainment, was founded on 18 February 2015 by Burna Boy. In 2020, it began to operate under the name Spaceship Records. The record label, was relaunched under Spaceship Collective, and currently holds the highest share in the company. Spaceship was established following Burna Boy's departure from Aristokrat Records, a record label owned by Piriye Isokrari. In 2020, Burna Boy signed LeriQ, Nissi, and Telz to Spaceship. Bnxn
Daniel Benson (born 14 May 1997), known professionally as Bnxn (pronounced as Benson) and formerly known as Buju, is a Nigerian Afro-fusion singer, songwriter and record producer. Early life He was born in Lagos. He hails from Akwa Ibom state. He was previously signed to Burna Boy's Spaceship Records, He grew up in Gbagada with his family, relocating to Ogun State. Career Bnxn (pronounced as Benson) released the extended play project ''Sorry I'm Late'' on 27 October 2021, under the management of T.Y.E/EMPIRE. It featured guest appearances from Nigerian Highlife music duo, The Cavemen, and production from Steph, Perlz, Denzl, Timi Jay and Rexxie. It was mixed and mastered by Vtek and Poppil. Motolani Alake of ''Pulse Nigeria'' said that it "projects confidence, wins and 'comfort". Buju performed his first show in London on 30 November, marking the beginning of his Sorry I'm Late tour. ''African Giant'' is the fourth studio album by Nigerian singer Burna Boy. The album was released on July 26, 2019, by Spaceship Entertainment, Bad Habit, Atlantic Records and Warner Music. The album is a mixture of Afrobeats, Afrobeat, dancehall, pop and hip hop. It was produced primarily by Kel-P, along with production from Benjamz, Dre Skull and Skrillex, among others. The album features guest appearances from Jorja Smith, Jeremih, Damian Marley, Zlatan Ibile, Angelique Kidjo, Serani, M.anifest, YG and Future. ''Outside'' is the third studio album by Nigerian singer Burna Boy. It was released on January 26, 2018, through Spaceship Entertainment, Bad Habit and Atlantic Records. The album is the follow-up to his debut extended play ''Redemption'' (2016). Described by the singer as a mixtape, ''Outside'' consists mostly of Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae and road rap. It features guest vocals from English musicians J Hus, Lily Allen and Mabel. ''Outside'' was supported by six singles: "Rock Your Body", "Streets of Africa", "Koni Baje", "Sekkle Down", "Heaven's Gate" and " Ye". Alli Odunayo (born 23 December 1996) professionally known as Telz is a Nigerian record producer and songwriter known for primarily producing Burna Boy's Grammy award winning album '' Twice As Tall'' and Patoranking's 2020 commercially acclaimed hit song "Abule". Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu (born 2 July 1991), known professionally as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. He rose to stardom in 2012 after releasing "Like to Party", the lead single from his debut studio album, '' L.I.F.E'' (2013). Nissi Ogulu
Jehovah-Nissi Ogulu, known professionally as Nissi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, fine artist and founder of Creele Animation Studios. Early life Ogulu was born to Bose and Samuel Ogulu and is the younger sister to Nigerian Afrobeats artiste Burna Boy. She started with music at six years old and went on to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Warwick.
