Spaces (app)
Google Spaces is a discontinued mobile app for group discussions and messaging developed by Google. The app was intended to compete with Slack as a content sharing platform where users can create a "space", invite their friends for discussion, and share videos, images, text, and other media. Google services such as the web browser Chrome, search engine Google Search, and video sharing platform YouTube were built into the app to allow users to source content from them. Google Spaces launched on May 16, 2016, available on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS operating systems. The app was discontinued on April 17, 2017. The Spaces brand name was revived for an unrelated feature in Google Chat, formerly named Rooms. Windows Live Spaces
Windows Live Spaces was Microsoft's blogging platform and social network service. The site was originally released in early 2004 as MSN Spaces to compete with other social networking services, and re-launched in 2006 as a part of a shifting of community services away from the MSN brand. Windows Live Spaces received an estimated 27 million (27,000,000) unique visitors per month as of August 2007. Despite being considered a useful messaging and communication tool, Windows Live Spaces has been criticized as not being as powerful as some of its alternatives. It was shut down in 2011 due to low viewership. Spaces was a virtual desktop feature of Mac OS X, introduced in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. It was announced by Steve Jobs during the opening keynote at the Worldwide Developers Conference on August 7, 2006. As of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, it has been incorporated into Mission Control. Overview Spaces enables users to create multiple virtual desktops suited to the unique needs or work habits of the user. A user could, for example, create and assign a "space" to office work, enabling the user to leave a work-related application (such as a word processor or a spreadsheet) running full screen and then switch to a different space designated for browsing the Internet or navigating file structure in Finder windows. Spaces is a Russian social network service that targets mobile phone users. History The website was launched in 2006. In 2009, it was ranked 7th on Opera's top ten visited social networking sites. Konstantin Vladimirovich Rak, who was sued by Epic Games for allegedly creating cheats to ''Fortnite'', was a user of the service. Currently, the site is going through not very good times of blocking in Russia, absence and frequent changes of site addresses, as well as frequent site hacks, data theft and constant DDOSS attacks, half of the users leave and transfer data to other services. in 2022, the social network changed 7 domain names, due to frequent blocking in Russia, for pirated and prohibited content. Gaps
Gaps is a member of the Montana group of Patience games, where the goal is to arrange all the cards in suit from Deuce (a Two card) to King. Other solitaire games in this family include Spaces, Addiction, Vacancies, Clown Solitaire, Paganini, Montana itself, Red Moon, and Blue Moon. Sometimes these alternate names are used to refer to the same game. Rules The cards are dealt into four rows of thirteen. The aces are removed and discarded from further play. The gaps that they leave behind are filled by cards that are the same suit and a rank higher than the card on the left of the gap. (For example, 4♣ can be placed beside 3♣.) However, any gap at the right of a King is considered dead and no card can fill it. Any gap on the left hand side of the row should be placed by a deuce and the row should be built up by suit beside the deuce (i. e. 2-3-4-5, etc.). ''Spaces'' is the seventh studio album by Brazilian psychedelic rock band Violeta de Outono, released on October 14, 2016 through Voiceprint Records. The band began work on the album circa June 2016, but it wouldn't be officially announced until September 19, 2016, when they uploaded a short teaser on their official YouTube channel; later on, a lyric video for the track "A Painter of the Mind" was uploaded on October 5, 2016. The album is an homage of sorts to Swiss-German artist Paul Klee (1879–1940); it uses a sketch made by him as its cover art, and the lyrics to "A Painter of the Mind" consist of many excerpts of some of his poems.
