Space Strikers
''Space Strikers'' (french: 20,000 Lieues dans l'espace, lit ''20,000 Leagues in Space'') is a 1995 animated television series based on the 1870 Jules Verne novel ''Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea''. Episodes center around the crew of the spaceship ''Nautilus'', led by Captain Nemo, in an attempt to liberate Earth and other planets from the control of Master Phantom. The series later premiered in France on M6 on March 8, 1995 and later aired in the United States on UPN from September 10 to December 3, 1995. Action sequences were shown in "Strikervision" 3-D. Ownership of the series passed to Disney in 2001 when Disney acquired Fox Kids Worldwide, which also includes Saban Entertainment. The series is not available on Disney+. Jean Chalopin
Jean Chalopin (born 31 May 1950) is a French bank executive. During the 1980s and early 1990s, he produced a range of successful animated series, first as the founder and president of the production company DIC, then at his newly created company C&D from 1987. He is probably most well-known as the co-creator of ''Inspector Gadget'', as well as the co-writer and producer of ''The Mysterious Cities of Gold''. He currently heads Bahamas-based Deltec Bank. Captain Nemo
Captain Nemo (; later identified as an Indian, Prince Dakkar) is a fictional character created by the French novelist Jules Verne (1828–1905). Nemo appears in two of Verne's science-fiction classics, ''Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas'' (1870) and ''The Mysterious Island'' (1875). He also makes a brief appearance in a play written by Verne with the collaboration of Adolphe d'Ennery, '' Journey Through the Impossible'' (1882). Nemo is a mysterious figure. Though originally of unknown nationality, he is later described as the son of an Indian raja. John Cygan
John Cygan (April 27, 1954 – May 13, 2017) was an American actor and comedian. Early life Cygan was born in New York City to a large family of thirteen children, six of them were half-siblings. His parents never married. He attended West Babylon High School on Long Island and was active in church and school theatre while in high school, including a star performance as the insane brother in '' Arsenic and Old Lace'' and the lead performance in a high school production of ''Bye Bye Birdie'', as the ever faithful agent Albert Peterson. Career Cygan was notable for his television work (''The Commish'', ''The X-Files'') and his voice work (''Star Wars'' games, '' Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty'', '' SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo'' games). Cam Clarke is an American voice actor, known for his work in animation, video games and commercials. Among his notable roles are Leonardo and Rocksteady in the 1987 ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' animated series, Shotaro Kaneda in the 1989 original Streamline Pictures English dub of '' Akira'', and Liquid Snake in the ''Metal Gear'' series.
