Philosophy Of Space And Time
Philosophy of space and time is the branch of philosophy concerned with the issues surrounding the ontology and epistemology of space and time. While such ideas have been central to philosophy from its inception, the philosophy of space and time was both an inspiration for and a central aspect of early analytic philosophy. The subject focuses on a number of basic issues, including whether time and space exist independently of the mind, whether they exist independently of one another, what accounts for time's apparently unidirectional flow, whether times other than the present moment exist, and questions about the nature of identity (particularly the nature of identity over time). Ancient and medieval views The earliest recorded philosophy of time was expounded by the ancient Egyptian thinker Ptahhotep (c. 2650–2600 BC) who said: The ''Vedas'', the earliest texts on Indian philosophy and Hindu philosophy, dating back to the late 2nd millennium BC, describe ancient Hindu cosmo ...

Space And Time (Doctor Who)
"Space" and "Time" are two mini-episodes of the British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. They were broadcast on 18 March 2011 as part of BBC One's Red Nose Day telethon for the charity Comic Relief. The two mini-episodes were written by the programme's head writer Steven Moffat and directed by Richard Senior. The episodes form a two-part story, set entirely within the TARDIS, starring Matt Smith as the Doctor, and Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill as married couple Amy Pond and Rory Williams. Rory, helping the Doctor work on the TARDIS, looks up the glass floor surrounding the console and becomes distracted by Amy's short skirt, causing him to drop the thermal couplings he was holding. This causes the three to be stuck in a "space loop" where the TARDIS materializes inside the TARDIS. "Space" and "Time" were filmed in two days alongside the sixth series DVD '' Night and the Doctor'' extras "Bad Night" and "Good Night". The episodes are intended to sh ...

It was released on 8 May 2018 through Dirty Hit as the album's seventh single. Release and live performances A day before the release of ''Visions of a Life'' on 28 September 2017, lead singer Ellie Rowsell said at Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show that "Space & Time" is a song about "feeling anxious and trying not to feel anxious," continuing: "Sometimes when I feel a bit low/weirdo I try to imagine my future self looking back on my past self and it kind of makes me feel better. So it’s a song about that really." The song was released on vinyl on 8 May 2018 as the seventh single from the album. Urban Hymns
''Urban Hymns'' is the third studio album by English alternative rock band the Verve, released on 29 September 1997 on Hut Records. It earned nearly unanimous critical praise upon its release, and went on to become the band's best-selling release and one of the biggest selling albums of the year. , ''Urban Hymns'' is ranked the 19th best-selling album in UK chart history and has sold over ten million copies worldwide. This is the only Verve album to feature guitarist and keyboardist Simon Tong, who initially joined the band to replace their original guitarist Nick McCabe. McCabe rejoined the band soon after, however, and Tong was considered the fifth member of the band; this makes the album the only one that the band recorded as a five-piece. The album features the hit singles "Bitter Sweet Symphony", "Lucky Man" and UK number one "The Drugs Don't Work". The critical and commercial success of the album saw the band win two Brit Awards in 1998, including Best British Album, an ...

Background After the release of their debut album in 2015 the band signed to Roadrunner Records to record and release their second album. Speaking to ''Noisey'', lead vocalist Brendan Yates spoke on the bands decision to sign to a major label "It's been super cool. The coolest part about it, and the thing that makes me feel good about being in a band, is that the process was really natural. They expressed interest in putting out our last LP. I think we met them in 2014 but, at that point, it didn't feel natural." going on to say "Obv ...

Let's Build A Fire
''Let's Build a Fire'' is the third album released by +/-. It was first released in Taiwan by white wabbit records in November 2005 and in Japan by & Records on December 14, 2005. A revised version of the album was released by Absolutely Kosher Records in the U.S. on October 24, 2006. The influential American online publication Pitchfork Media ignited a controversy in November 2006 when it reviewed the Taiwanese version of the album by mistake. The review was critical of elements of the Taiwanese version which had been changed in the subsequent US release. Once the error was drawn to the publishers' attention they quickly commissioned another journalist to review the US version of the album. The music video for "Steal the Blueprints" was directed by Chris Deaner and won Best Video at the 7th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival. Deaner also directed a video for the song ''Fadeout''. The song "For You" is used prominently in Episode 19 of Season 5 of CSI: Miami ''CSI: Miami'' ...
