Soyeon Lee
Soyeon Kate Lee (이소연) is a Korean-American classical pianist, who currently lives in New York, US. She is on the College and Pre-College piano faculty at the Juilliard School. Early life and education Born in Seoul, South Korea, Soyeon Kate Lee moved to the United States at the age of 9. Lee's early studies were with Romanian teacher Marina di Pretoro and at the Interlochen Arts Academy with Victoria Mushkatkol. She graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy with the highest honors in music. She continued her studies at The Juilliard School with Jerome Lowenthal and Robert McDonald, earning her Bachelors, Masters, and Artist Diploma degrees. During her studies at Juilliard, she won the school's concerto competition, Gina Bachauer piano competition, Helen Fay Prize, Arthur Rubinstein Prize, and the Petschek Piano Debut Award. Santander, Cantabria
Santander () is the capital of the autonomous community and historical region of Cantabria situated on the north coast of Spain. It is a port city located east of Gijón and west of Bilbao with a population of 172,000 (2017). Ran Dank
Ran Dank (born April 3, 1982) is an Israeli classical pianist, who currently lives in New York, NY, USA. Early life Dank started playing the piano at the age of seven with Yaakov Krantz. He went on to work with Liora Peleg at the Givaataim Conservatory, and from 1994 until 2002, he studied with Professor Vadim Monastirsky of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. In the years between 2000 and 2003, Dank served under a special musician status in the Israeli Defense Forces. From 2004 to 2005, Dank attended the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv, where he received his BA in music, studying with Professor Emanuel Krasovsky. In 2005–07, Dank left his native Israel for the first time, to study at the Juilliard School in New York. Under the tutelage of Professors Emanuel Ax and Joseph Kalichstein, he was awarded his M.M degree in 2007. Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin (; russian: Александр Николаевич Скрябин ; – ) was a Russian composer and virtuoso pianist. The Naumburg International Piano Competition is the name given to all the piano competitions sponsored by the Walter W. Naumburg Foundation. It is a competition for young pianists, of ages 17 to 32, organized in New York City, United States since 1926. It is one of the oldest music competitions in the world, and it has helped launch the career of some of the 20th century's greatest pianists, such as Jorge Bolet, William Kapell, Abbey Simon, Theodore Lettvin, Constance Keene, Adele Marcus, Kun-Woo Paik, Andre-Michel Schub and Stephen Hough, among many others.
