''Commander of the Lucky 'Pike (russian: Командир счастливой 'Щуки', Komandir schastlivoi 'Schuki') is a 1972 Soviet war film directed by Boris Volchek. The film's title is a pun in Russian, the submarine 'Щ-721' is nicknamed as pike (russian: щука, schuka, lit=pike). Plot In 1942, when the German troops are preparing to seize Murmansk, the Soviet command decides to intensify the activities of the Northern Fleet. The crew of the submarine 'Щ-721' performs the task of destroying enemy transport with soldiers and ammunition. The submarine of Strogov is considered to be lucky. The crew under his leadership works wonders and gets out of difficult situations. Yelena Grigoryevna Drapeko (russian: Еле́на Григо́рьевна Драпе́ко; born 29 October 1948) is a Soviet and Russian theatre and film actress. She has appeared in more than 30 films and television shows since 1972. She is also a member of the State Duma since 2000. On 29 November 2022, during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, she claimed that Ukraine as a separate country doesn't exist, that Ukraine is Russian, that the Ukrainian people would benefit from a Russian takeover, and that it was surprising that the Western countries were assisting Ukraine against the Russian attack. Stanislav Iosifovich Rostotsky (russian: Станислав Иосифович Ростоцкий; 21 April 1922, in Rybinsk – 10 August 2001, in Vyborg) was a Soviet film director and screenwriter, the recipient of the two USSR State Prizes and a Lenin Prize. He was named People's Artist of the USSR in 1974. Early years Stanislav Rostotsky was born in Rybinsk on 21 April 1922 into a Russian-Polish family. His grandfather Boleslaw Rostotsky served as a General in the Imperial Russian Army and a prosecutor on Emperor's personal order.

People's Artist of the USSR (1978). Biography Rufina Nifontova was born in Moscow on September 15, 1931 in a family with Greek roots. The father – Dmitry Pitade (1891–1944), was an assistant to the chief of station Moscow-Sorting – attentive, gentle man. Mother – Darya Semyonovna (1895–1964), worked at a textile factory, was a shock worker-activist, had a martial character. Alexander's brother went missing in the early days of the Great Patriotic War. Brother Boris was also killed at the front. Brother Vyacheslav (1931–1975) – the twin Rufina. Dangerous Corner (film)
''Dangerous Corner'' was the first play by the English writer J. B. Priestley. It was premiered in May 1932 by Tyrone Guthrie at the Lyric Theatre, London, and filmed in 1934 by Phil Rosen. Priestley had recently collaborated with Edward Knoblock on ''The Good Companions'' and now wished "to prove that a man might produce long novels and yet be able to write effectively, using the strictest economy, for the stage." While it was praised highly by James Agate, ''Dangerous Corner'' received extremely poor reviews and after three days he was told that the play would be taken off, a fate that he averted by buying out the syndicate. It then ran for six months. Priestley's action was further vindicated by the worldwide success the play was to enjoy, although he soon lowered his estimate of this work and as early as 1938 remarked "It is pretty thin stuff when all is said and done."
