Southern Trails is a master planned community located west of State Highway 288 in Pearland, Texas, United States. Developed by Ashton Woods, Newmark Homes, Taylor Morrison, Coventry Homes, and Perry Homes, the neighborhood includes a recreation center with a kitchen and fitness center, a junior Olympic pool, two kiddie pools, playgrounds, ten lakes, miles of hike & bike trails, and parks & picnic pavilions. of green space have been reserved for lakes and walking trails. Southern Trails is located close to the Texas Medical Center, Pearland Town Center, Downtown Houston, and Reliant Park. It is planned to have almost 1,400 home sites at full build-out. Texas State Highway 288
State Highway 288 (SH 288) is a north–south highway in the southeastern portion of the U.S. state of Texas, between I-45 in downtown Houston and Freeport, where it terminates on FM 1495. The route was originally designated by 1939, replacing the southern portion of SH 19. Route description In Harris County, SH 288 is the South Freeway, a divided freeway known for having one of the widest medians of the local road system. It begins as freeway status from its northern terminus at Interstate 69/ U.S. Route 59 just south of downtown southward through south Houston. It reaches an intersection with I-610 and continues south through newer subdivisions. It reaches an intersection with State Highway 6, after which it loses its freeway status. Reliant Park
NRG Park, formerly Reliant Park and Astrodomain, is a complex in Houston, named after the energy company NRG Energy. It is located on Kirby Drive at the South Loop West Freeway ( I-610). This complex of buildings encompasses of land and consists of four venues: NRG Stadium, NRG Center, NRG Arena and the NRG Astrodome. The complex hosts many sporting events and conventions each year, the largest of which are Houston Texans home games, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
