The Southern Hotel is a three-story Classical Revival structure located in El Reno, Oklahoma. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, the building was constructed in 1909 as a hotel for passengers traveling the Rock Island Railroad as well as travelers along the Oklahoma Railway Company's interurban line to Oklahoma City Oklahoma City (), officially the City of Oklahoma City, and often shortened to OKC, is the capital and largest city of the U.S. state of Oklahoma. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 16,989, marking a change of 1.55% from 16,729, recorded in the 2010 census.
