South East Asian Mathematics Competition
The South East Asian Mathematics Competition (SEAMC) is an annual three-day non-profit mathematics competition for Southeast Asian students at different grade levels. It is a qualifying competition organized by Eunoia Ventures for invitation to the World Mathematics Championships. Teams have participated from China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Nepal. Host venue locations of the SEAMC changes annually. An online version was held due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Eligibility * The Senior Competition is open to all students in Grade 12 (Year 13) or younger. * The Junior Competition is open to all students in Grade 9 (Year 10) or younger. * The Secondary Competition is open to all students in Grade 7 (Year 8) or younger during the month of the event and * Primary level for Grade 5 (Year 6) or younger. Chinese International School
The Chinese International School is a private international school in Hong Kong. In 1994 it was the sole international school in Hong Kong that used English and Mandarin at about the same amount of time each as media of instruction. History The school opened in 1983, with an initial intake of approximately 75 students in Years 1 to 3. Its first location was at 7 Eastern Hospital Road in Causeway Bay. Island School ( Chinese: 港島中學) is a co-educational international school located in Hong Kong. It is the founding school of the English Schools Foundation, and is still a member. The school has been accredited by international organisations such as the Council of International Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school currently houses over 1,200 students across 33 nationalities. The school has relocated itself twice since its establishment. Using the site of a former British military hospital from 1967 to 1972, the school permanently settled in 20 Borrett Road, Mid-Levels from 1972 to 2017.
