Soundararajan (cinematographer)
Soundar Rajan is an Indian cinematographer who has worked in the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries. Early life Soundar Rajan was born in Uthiramerur, Tamil Nadu to Saranathan and Chandra. His childhood days were spent in Kancheepuram. He graduated with Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications from Loyola College. Career Soundar Rajan completed a degree in Visual Communications at Loyola College, Chennai before approaching P. C. Sreeram for work experience. Sreeram recommended him to K. V. Anand, who accepted him as an assistant, and they subsequently worked on films including ''Nerukku Ner'' (1997), ''Mudhalvan'' (1999) and ''Josh'' (2000), before continuing as an apprentice till ''Khakee'' (2004). Soundar Rajan made his debut as a lead cinematographer with ''Sukran'' (2005), before going on to work on ''Kana Kandaen'' (2005), directed by his mentor K. V. Anand. Chimbu Devan is an Indian film director also known as a writer, cartoonist, and screenwriter. His films mostly explore the fantasy and historical genres and also comedy. He debuted with the historical comedy-drama film Imsai Arasan 23 M Pulikesi. Career Deven started his career as an assistant director on Cheran's 2000 film ''Vetri Kodi Kattu''. ''Billa'' is a 2009 Indian Telugu-language gangster action thriller film directed by Meher Ramesh. The film stars Prabhas in a dual role alongside Krishnam Raju, Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Namitha, Rahman, and Kelly Dorjee. After making his debut in 2003 with the successful ''Thirumalai'', he has gone on to make other ventures including ''Sullan'' and ''Aathi''. Lakshman is an Indian film distributor, director and producer who has worked in Tamil language films. He was born in Kokkarayanpettai, Erode district. Career Lakshman made a breakthrough as a film distributor following the success of S. J. Surya's ''New (film), New'' (2004), which he released in the Chengalpet area of Tamil Nadu. He subsequently agreed terms to produce a film starring S. J. Surya in the lead role and the pair initially considered starting a film with Selvaraghavan as director, before finalising Thamizhvannan.
