Soudamini
''Soudamini'' is a 1951 Indian Telugu-language swashbuckler film, produced and directed by K. B. Nagabhushanam, and presented by Kannamba. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, S. Varalakshmi and Kannamba, with music composed by S. V. Venkatraman. The film was a box office hit. Plot Once upon on a time, there was a kingdom Malwa, King Vikramasena & Queen Soudamini are perturbed as childless. But with the blessings from sage Bodhayana the queen Soudamini conceives. Here sadly, Vikramasena goes into the clutches of court dancer Vilasavati one that falsifies the illicit relationship between Chief Minister Mahamathi & Soudamini. As a result, Vikramasena charges the death sentence to Mahamathi and exiles Soudamini from the kingdom. ''Saudamini'' ( ta, சௌதாமினி) is a 1951 Indian, Tamil language film directed by K. B. Nagabhushanam. The film featured M. K. Radha, P. Kannamba and Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Plot A Maharshi (sage) blesses King Vikramasenan and Queen Saudamini to beget a child. The queen becomes pregnant. But the king is lured by the court dancer and he neglects the queen. The minister advises the queen to drive away the court dancer from the country. But the court dancer sows seeds of doubt in the king's mind that the queen is having an affair with the minister. So, the king orders the minister to be executed and sends the queen to the forest. The queen delivers a son, Udhayasenan, in the forest and he is growing up. In the meantime, the court dancer and her paramour, the commander blinds the king and take over the administration. Chilakalapudi Seeta Rama Anjaneyulu (11 July 1907 – 8 October 1963), popularly known as C. S. R., was an Indian method acting, method actor, and thespian best known for his works in Telugu cinema, and Telugu theater. Akkineni Nageswara Rao (20 September 1923 – 22 January 2014), widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, known for his works majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Telugu cinema. Nageswara Rao received seven state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards South. Swashbuckler films are a subgenre of the action film genre, often characterised by swordfighting and adventurous heroic characters, known as swashbucklers. Andhra Patrika was the weekly newspaper of the nationalist movement in the Telugu speaking region founded by Kasinadhuni Nageswara Rao in 1908.
