Periphery is an American progressive metal band formed in Washington, D.C. in 2005. Their musical style has been described as progressive metal, djent, and progressive metalcore. They are considered one of the pioneers of the djent movement within progressive metal. They have also received a Grammy nomination. The band consists of vocalist Spencer Sotelo, guitarists Misha Mansoor, Mark Holcomb, Jake Bowen, and drummer Matt Halpern. Gerardo Hernán Matos Rodríguez (March 28, 1897 – April 25, 1948), also known as Becho, was a Uruguayan musician, composer and journalist. Becho was not attributed to this Uruguayan musician. José Calvo Sotelo, 1st Duke of Calvo Sotelo, GE (6 May 1893 – 13 July 1936) was a Spanish jurist and politician, minister of Finance during the dictatorship of Miguel Primo de Rivera and a leading figure during the Second Republic. During this period he became an important part of Renovación Española, a monarchist movement. His assassination in July 1936 by the bodyguard of Socialist party leader Indalecio Prieto was an immediate prelude to the triggering of the military coup plotted since February 1936, the partial failure of which marked the beginning of the Spanish Civil War. Beth Sotelo is an American comic book colorist working with Aspen MLT. Having started at Top Cow Productions in 2001, she has since worked at both DC Comics and Marvel Comics, two of the largest American comic publishers. Early life Sotelo grew up in Hesperia and San Gabriel, California. She began drawing at a young age, and took classes related to her interest in art whenever possible. Career Sotelo began her career as a colorist for Top Cow Productions in 2001. She was mentored by Peter Steigerwald. She continued to work mostly for Aspen Comics, but also did work for Marvel Comics and DC Comics. Among her Marvel works is the 2008 comic book '' Wolverine: Killing Made Simple''. She was the colorist on the ''All New Fathom'' and ''Shrugged'' comics series produced by Aspen MLT. She was also the colorist on ''Fathom'' volume 5 in 2016. Miguel Sotelo (22 June 1933 – 6 July 2007) was a Mexican professional baseball pitcher and manager who spent more than 25 years in professional baseball. Career Sotelo debuted in 1953 with the Águilas de Mexicali club of the Arizona–Texas League. The following year he was under the orders of George Genovese in a minor league team in Hutchinson, Kansas Pittsburgh Pirates lower division club. In 1955, he then was transferred to the Arizona–Mexico League where he excelled with the Cananea BBC pitching a no-hitter against the Phoenix Stars. One year later he made his Mexican League debut with the Tigres del México. He also played for the Cañeros de Los Mochis and in his first year had a record of 18-6 with 13 consecutive wins. Mauricio Sotelo (born 2 October 1961 in Madrid) is a Spanish composer and conductor. Sotelo began his musical studies as a self-taught player of the guitar, and later at the Real Conservatorio de Música de Madrid. In 1979 he moved to Vienna to study at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Four years later, after finishing his course with Dieter Kaufmann, among others, he was admitted in the Chair of Composition commanded by Francis Burt – Sotelo dedicated to him the piece ''De Vinculis: Ge-Burt.
