Andrew Sorrell
Justin Andrew Sorrell (born 1985 or 1986) is an American politician who is the incumbent State Auditor of Alabama, serving since 2023. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2018 to 2022, representing the 3rd district, which includes the northwestern counties of Colbert and Lawrence. Described as a "firebrand" by ''Yellowhammer News'', Sorrell was first elected in 2018; he was annually named as one of the "most conservative" representatives in the Alabama Legislature, as well as among the most conservative state legislators in the United States. He was elected as state auditor in the 2022 election cycle after defeating pastor Stan Cooke in a runoff. Sorrell Booke
Sorrell Booke (January 4, 1930 – February 11, 1994) was an American actor who performed on stage, screen, and television. He acted in more than 100 plays and 150 television shows, and is best known for his role as corrupt politician Jefferson Davis "Boss" Hogg in the television show ''The Dukes of Hazzard''. Early life and education Booke was born in Buffalo, New York, the son of Sol Booke, a local physician. As a child, he entertained patients in his father's waiting room, and began acting on radio at nine. As a young radio actor he was known for his impersonations. He won a radio contest for mimicking the voice of Adolf Hitler, and appeared regularly as an actor on local radio stations WGR and WEBR. Walter Sorrells is an American author of mystery and suspense novels for adults and teens, who also writes under the pseudonyms Lynn Abercrombie and Ruth Birmingham. He also hand-forges swords and knives in the Japanese style. Sorrells has written many novels, including ''Fake I.D.'', named one of the ten Best Mysteries by Booklist magazine in 2005 and several novels based-on the television series Flight 29 Down. Sorell is a town in Tasmania, Australia, north-east of Hobart. It is located on the Tasman Highway at the junction with the Arthur Highway. Sorell is one of Tasmania's oldest towns, being first settled in 1808 as a small farming community and becoming an official township in 1821. William H. Sorrell (born March 9, 1947) is an American politician. He is the longest-serving attorney general in the history of the U.S. state of Vermont, holding the position for 20 years. Originally appointed by Governor Howard Dean in 1997, he was reelected nine times: in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014. During his last election, he defeated primary challenger TJ Donovan by a very narrow margin. He did not run for re-election in 2016, and was succeeded by Donovan in January 2017. Elizabeth Sorrell, née Tanner (1916–1991) was a British water-colour painter. Her work was a combination of technique with attention to detail, whether she was observing the natural world, or the textural quality of lace, silk, porcelain. “In earlier years, I painted a good deal outdoors, but as circumstances compelled me to be indoors more than out, I have more recently found my self evolving a sort of animated still-life picture”.
