Sophiya Haque
Sophiya Haque (14 June 1971 – 17 January 2013) was an English actress, singer, video jockey and dancer. She is best known for playing the role of Poppy Morales in ''Coronation Street'' between 2008 and 2009. Early life Haque was born Syeda Sophia Haque in Portsmouth, Hampshire to a Bangladeshi father and a British Jewish mother. She was the youngest of three daughters. She was brought up by her mother, Thelma, a schoolteacher. She attended Priory School in Portsmouth, and took dancing lessons from the age of two and a half at Mary Forrester's Rainbow School of Dance before moving at the age of 13 to London (where she lived with her father, Amirul Haque, a restaurateur, and his second wife), training full-time at the Arts Educational Schools, London. ''Khoobsurat'' () is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Sanjay Chhel and produced by Rahul Sughand. Michael Grandage
Michael Grandage CBE (born 2 May 1962) is a British theatre director and producer. He is currently Artistic Director of the Michael Grandage Company. From 2002 to 2012 he was Artistic Director of the Donmar Warehouse in London and from 2000 to 2005 he was Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres. Early years Grandage was born in Yorkshire, England, and raised in Penzance, Cornwall, where his parents ran a family business. The Rovers Return Inn is a fictional pub in the long-running British soap opera ''Coronation Street''. The Rovers Return occupies a corner of the fictional Coronation Street and Rosamund Street set location in the show. The pub was built by the fictional brewery Newton and Ridley. In the programme, the Rovers Return Inn has been a free house since 1995, although the brewery continues to supply it. The name comes from the Ye Olde Rovers Return in Withy Grove, Manchester, a 14th-century building that became a licensed public house but ceased to be so in 1924 and was demolished in 1958.
