Sophie Hausmann
Sophie Hausmann (born 2 June 1997) is a German professional golfer and member of the Epson Tour and Ladies European Tour. Amateur career Hausmann started playing golf at the age of 4. She competed for her North Rhine-Westphalia club team for five years where she was third in the state girls' championship in 2011 and 2012, and both state ladies and girls champion in 2013. In 2016, she won the German International Amateur. Hausmann competed for the German National team between 2015 and 2019. She appeared at the Espirito Santo Trophy twice, in 2016 in Mexico with Antonia Eberhard and Esther Henseleit, and in 2018 in Ireland with Leonie Harm and Esther Henseleit, where they finished 5th. She appeared at the European Ladies' Team Championship three times, finishing 4th in 2016 and 5th in 2017, before securing a bronze medal at the 2019 event in Italy. Nottuln (; Low German: ''Notteln'') is a municipality in the district of Coesfeld in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. 2019 European Ladies' Team Championship
The 2019 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 9–13 July at Golf Club Is Molas, in Pula, Italy. It was the 36th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue The hosting course, located in Pula municipality in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari in the Italian region of Sardinia, located about 25 kilometres (16 miles) southwest of Cagliari, was inaugurated in 1975 and laid out by the Cotton, Pennink & Partners architectural studio to a design by Piero Mancinelli. Four Italian Open tournaments on the European Tour were previously held on the course. The championship course was set up with par 72. Format All participating teams played two qualification rounds of stroke-play with six players, counted the five best scores for each team. Sophia Marie Schubert (born January 31, 1996) is an American professional golfer. Education Schubert majored in Sport management at the University of Texas. Amateur career Schubert won the 2017 U.S. Women's Amateur, defeating the number-3 ranked amateur player in the world and former Olympian, Albane Valenzuela, in the final. Schubert competed for the Texas Longhorns and became the first Longhorn to win the U.S. Women's Amateur since Kelli Kuehne in 1996. Schubert was caddied by her coach at Texas, Ryan Murphy. She previously competed for the Christian Academy of Knoxville and at Auburn during her freshman year in college before transferring to Texas. Schubert turned professional in 2018 and made her pro debut at the 2018 Indy Women in Tech Championship on the LPGA Tour. She began playing on the Symetra Tour in 2019.
