Soorma Bhopali
''Soorma Bhopali'' is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language film produced by Naved and directed by Jagdeep, who previously played Soorma Bhopali in the movie ''Sholay''. This film is one of the earliest works for the music director duo Dilip Sen – Sameer Sen. One of the last released songs of Mohammed Rafi "Makhmal Ho Ya Taat Ka Parda" is in this film, picturised on Danny Denzongpa. Plot Soorma Bhopali is the owner of a Timber mart. He wants to distribute all his wealth to humanity. His trust and innocence are taken advantage of by the people. Dilwar Khan Dilwala, who happens to be the identical step brother of Soorma, keeps staking his claim on half of Soorma's inheritance. Soorma inherited a priceless necklace which, according to his mother, he will have to give to his bride. Jagdeep
Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey (29 March 1939 – 8 July 2020), better known by his stage name Jagdeep, was an Indian actor and comedian who appeared in more than 400 films. He played Soorma Bhopali in ''Sholay'' (1975), Machchar in ''Purana Mandir'' (1983), Salman Khan's dad in ''Andaz Apna Apna'' (1994) and directed the movie ''Soorma Bhopali'', with his character as the protagonist. Jagdeep started his film career as a child artist extra in B. R. Chopra's '' Afsana'', then went on to do films as a child artist in films like ''Ab Dilli Door Nahin'', K. A. Dilraj Kaur (born 21 May 1960), is an Indian playback singer. She is most known for singing in films such as ''Galiyon Ka Badshah'' (2001), '' Me and Mr. Canadian'' (2019) etc. She has sung 286 songs in Hindi films. Asad Bhopali (10 July 1921 – 9 June 1990) was an Indian Hindustani poet and lyricist. The ''Encyclopaedia of Hindi Cinema'', compiled by Gulzar and Saibal Chatterjee, describes him as one of the "few names that stand out for their contribution to Hindi film lyrics". Film career Asad Bhopali was born in Bhopal, as Asadullah Khan. He was the eldest child of Munshi Ahmed Khan, a teacher of Arabian and Persian languages. Kader Khan (22 October 1937 – 31 December 2018) was an Indian actor, screenwriter and film director. As an actor, he appeared in over 300 Bollywood films after his debut film in the 1973 film '' Daag'', starring Rajesh Khanna, in which he acted as a prosecuting attorney.
