Sontirat Sontijirawong
Sontirat Sontijirawong ( th, สนธิรัตน์ สนธิจิรวงศ์; born 19 March 1960) is a former Thai politician. He served as Ministry of Energy (Thailand), Minister of Energy in the Second Prayut cabinet, second cabinet of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. Supattanapong Punmeechaow was appointed as his successor. On 19 January 2022, Sontirat formed a new party alongside Uttama Savanayana called Sang Anakot Thai (Building Thailand's Future). Early life and education Sontirat born on 19 March 1960 in Kanchanaburi. He holds a bachelor's degree in Material science and a Master of Business Administration from Chulalongkorn University. Its budget for fiscal year 2019 (1 October 2018–30 September 2019) is 2,319 million baht. Chulalongkorn ( th, จุฬาลงกรณ์, 20 September 1853 – 23 October 1910) was the fifth monarch of Siam under the House of Chakri, titled Rama V. He was known to the Siamese of his time as ''Phra Phuttha Chao Luang'' (พระพุทธเจ้าหลวง, the Royal Buddha). Chulalongkorn's reign was characterised by the modernisation of Siam, governmental and social reforms, and territorial concessions to the British and French. As Siam was surrounded by European colonies, Chulalongkorn, through his policies and acts, ensured the independence of Siam.
