Songs Music Publishing, also known as SONGS, is a Music publisher (popular music), music publishing company founded by Matt Pincus and joined by partners Ron Perry (music), Ron Perry in 2004 and Carianne Marshall in 2006. The company has offices in New York City, Los Angeles and London. SONGS represents songwriters and producers across all genres of music. SONGS' growth has been achieved through the signing of worldwide, exclusive co-publishing agreements with individual writers and through catalog acquisitions. As of November 2013, founder Matt Pincus continues to serve as CEO of SONGS, Ron Perry serves as the company's President, and Carianne Marshall serves as the Head of Creative Licensing. Adam Pallin, also known by his stage name 1-900, is an American record producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He was the producer/programmer half of the pop duo Little Jackie with Imani Coppola. His production and songwriting often blend quirky, vintage aesthetic with cleverly crafted pop. Brazil was a post-hardcore and progressive rock band from Indiana, USA. Band history The band was formed as ''London'' in the summer of 2000 by the brothers Jonathon and Nicholas Newby. In early 2001 the band renamed themselves Brazil, taken from the Terry Gilliam film ''Brazil''. In 2002 the band signed a small contract with Fearless Records who released the ''Dasein'' EP. In 2004 they released their debut album ''A Hostage and the Meaning of Life'', also released by Fearless Records. The band later signed with Immortal Records to release ''The Philosophy of Velocity'' in 2006. In August 2007, Jonathon Newby left the band, resulting in the band breaking up. The Bled was an American post-hardcore band from Tucson, Arizona, formed in 2001. They released four albums (''Pass the Flask'', ''Found in the Flood'', ''Silent Treatment (The Bled album), Silent Treatment'' and ''Heat Fetish'') before disbanding in 2012. Attack Attack! is an American metalcore band from Westerville, Ohio, originally formed in 2007 as Ambiance, later changing their name. Attack Attack!'s first release, an independent EP titled ''If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords?'', was released in 2007, which led to the signing of the band to Rise Records the same year. Asobi Seksu was an American shoegaze/dream pop band based in New York City. Their music used a textured and effects-heavy vocal and guitar sound. The band primarily consisted of Yuki Chikudate (vocals, keyboards) and James Hanna (guitar, vocals). History Forming in 2001, the band was originally known as Sportfuck, and issued an EP under that name that year. The band then changed their name to Asobi Seksu, from the Japanese 遊びセックス (asobi sekkusu), "play sex".
