Son Of Django
''Son of Django'' ( it, Il figlio di Django, also known as ''Vengeance Is a Colt 45'' and ''Return of Django'') is a 1967 Italian Spaghetti Western film written and directed by Osvaldo Civirani. Plot When he was a child, Jeff Tracey's father, Django, was murdered by an unknown assailant. A now adult Tracey has become a gunslinger searching for the killer. After his horse is stolen, Tracey arrives in the territory of Topeka, where rival ranchers Thompson and Clay Ferguson compete for control of the area. Tracey is imprisoned after killing three of Clay's men. Tracey escapes jail with the aid of his cellmate, a Frenchman known as Four Aces, and Logan, both of whom work for Thompson. They offer Tracey a job, but he distrusts Thompson, believing that he played a role in Django's murder. Osvaldo Civirani
Osvaldo Civirani (19 May 1917 - 20 February 2008) was an Italian still photographer, producer, director, cinematographer, screenwriter and author. Until 1963, Civirani worked mainly as still photographer on over two hundred films. From 1963 until 1976, Civirani produced and directed 20 films in such diverse genres as erotic mondo film, peplum, eurospy film, Spaghetti Western, costume drama, comedy, giallo, and exotic erotic drama. As author, he wrote two autobiographical books that were published in 1995 and 2003. Biography 1917-1963: Early life and work as still photographer Civirani was born in Rome as son of a photographer. John Bartha
János Bartha (6 February 1915 – 1991), better known as John Bartha, was a Hungarian film actor who appeared primarily in Spaghetti Westerns in the 1960s and 1970s. He is probably most recognizable in western cinema for his role as the Sheriff who captured Tuco in the 1966 Sergio Leone film, ''The Good, the Bad and the Ugly''. He made nearly 80 appearances in film between 1951 and 1981. Bartha died in 1991. Giuseppe Castellano (September 12, 1893 in Prato – July 31, 1977 in Porretta Terme) was an Italian general who negotiated the Armistice between Italy and Allied armed forces on September 8, 1943. Biography Military career Of Sicilian descent but born in Prato he was the son of a military man. His career in the Army was rapid and brilliant. In the First World War he was Captain of Artillery. In 1941, he was promoted to brigadier general during the Invasion of Yugoslavia, and was at that time, the youngest general in Italy. In 1942 he was called to the Army General Staff and the following year, to the High Command and collaborated as personal aide with General Vittorio Ambrosio. He was a close friend of Benito Mussolini's son-in-law Galeazzo Ciano, who was the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
